I had pork chops & PANCAKES!! dredged the pork chops in flour seasoned with S&P and a little cayenne , fried in oil & butter until brown & crispy..when I went to make pancakes realized all the Aunt Jemima was at the cabin so I found an easy pancake recipe online and they turned out excellent..so I had the pork chops, topped with apple sauce, topped with pancakes, all drizzled with maple syrup..the oddest combinations but all tasted sooo good together

We're doing pork chops in mushroom soup... so I would assume that we'll also have mashed potatoes and mix veg as sides.

Must toot my own horn some, made a massive amount of beef stew in my pressure cooker this morning and that will stretch over quite a few lunches and or dinners. Just in time ( comfort food! ) to counteract the bone chilling winds and drifting snow that showed up yesterday. The bite sized pieces of meat are as tender as cheese.
