@metro found 8 small meat trays with pork riblets all marked down 30%....each pkg was between $1.00 and $2.00 before the discount. ( these will need to be cooked in my pressure cooker till all the meat falls away from the bones as they are weirdo shapes/thick ends, etc )
So total was $9.41 once the discounts were applied but I bought some other discounted produce items and then used my AM to get it all for free!

Great shop! I used to buy riblets all the time, when they were cheap and we couldn't afford 'real' ribs or other pork cuts. I would boil them to make soup, then do them in the oven with a rib sauce.
They used to be cheap, really cheap - but no longer.

    Supper tonight was Whopper Wednesday.

Turned hubby's leftover tuna burger patties into a tuna casserole and it turned out ok. Even made fried onion for topping.

...turned the bbq on earlier mostly just to give it a good, long cleaning..so now I have pork chops thawing for a BBQ..lol..I bought a 50 lb bag of potatoes a couple of weeks ago on sale for $9.99..I gave a lot away but I still have a lot to use, so think I 'll make oven crispy fries and there's bought coleslaw & macaroni salad in the fridge to go with it..maybe a michelob or 2
