Lasagna.....man it took a labour of love to construct and bake on Saturday morning and then " woosh! " most of it has been eaten up. ( mind you I squirreled away 2 large servings for the guys work dinners tomorrow ) but still!
Today I am making stuffed skinless/boneless chix breasts, just using the Stove Top mix but adding cranberries, celery and onion to it. Also I fully crumb coat the outside of them before baking.
Lots of fresh crisp raw veggies today as the sides. After all there IS a Jays game on. Gotta have some finger food.

@walkonby interesting that you made a lasagna and here I just threw a frozen one from m&m foods in the oven lol. I often make my own stuff but like the stuff from m&m foods. It's a bit pricey but good. Another thing I like about it, you can place order online and set a date and time to pick up. No other places you can really do that around here and no grocery delivery services. My whole freezer is filled with foods from there.

Really hot here, so I asked husband if he would do the meat - so he's making pork schnitzel.
This way, I got potatoes and onions ready for roasting in the oven, and they can cook away whilst he fries the schnitzel. He doesn't mind the heat - and since the kitchen has the a/c, I know he'll turn it off while working in the kitchen, so I don't want to be there then!
We'll also have sweetlet peas to go with.
Son is coming for supper, so the amounts have been upped so he has some to take home as well.Last edited by Natalka; Sun, Jun 4th, 2017 at 05:57 PM.

Sounds like all could be done on the BBQ and no interior heat required.

I have been bouncing around for a few days, so dinners have been hit and miss.
Downtown Toronto Friday night, Brooklin Spring Fair last night, back in Trenton today.
So I finally ate a decent dinner.
Flattened Chicken, Purple Roast Potatoes, Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Jalapeno and Maple Syrup and Steamed Asparagus.

We had a weekend getaway.
Friday night we ate late and shared a flatbread pizza and ceaser salad and a few sweet potato fries (shared with friends)
Saturday evening we ate late again at a fancy steak house. We shared Ceaser salad parm chips and then I had filet mignon with whipped potatoes.
Last night at home I had a leftover burger.
Tonight: Well since I have a messy kitchen to clean and laundry to do I am thinking Chinese food! Time will tell.
