A doctor in our community recently had his licenses revoked. This GP was one of our two Anastasiologists in town. My GP is the other Anastasiologist. I had a post-op follow-up scheduled for later this afternoon, but it had to be rescheduled for next week because my GP was called into an emergency surgery. This will be a more common occurrence until another Anastasiologist is brought into our community. They used to be on call alternating weeks. This is one of the medical down sides to living in a smaller community.

That daycare Dad signed a contract for July and August, while his regular childcare provider is away.

Hope everyone has a great weekend planned! We are hosting dinner tonight and tomorrow night.
Will check out the Canada Day celebrations in town. Fireworks tomorrow night.
Hope to get some things done around the house too.
I am off early today so will go to grocery store to grab few items we need (Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, basil and bread. We have everything else. Then home to give the house a quick once over. It is clean just wanted to clean the main floor washroom and give the floors a quick wipe so it is fresh and clean. Then do it all over again tomorrow night

Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Canada Day Everyone.
Last night we ran into Frescho after work to grab some of the $1.50/lb Peameal. Beside the Peameal they had some of the Pork Loins that were on sale for $1.50/lb marked down to $1.00/lb. Even though I bought 2 Pork Loins last week I could not pass up that price and purchased 2 more.

Lowes Garden Centre is open until 6pm. CT and Longos also have garden centres so I will take a look at the sales.

Today was successful, I have taught myself how to use Photoshop.
Recently I have been doing more work on our website and none of my images looked as good as the ones already posted and I found out the old images were done using photoshop which we lost when the laptop it was on had to be reset. So on Thursday I found a free version which I downloaded. I quickly saw the differences in my images so I have emailed Dad to see if I can get Photoshop put back on the company computer as it really is necessary for work on the website. I have not heard back by after watching/reading a few tutorials I have figured out how to format and fix photos. Now let's just hope dad agrees to putting Photshop back on the company laptop.
Right now I am trying to talk myself into getting up and finding the yarn I bought yesterday to make Mom a pillow for her bed.
I am also considering starting a new personal blog for my crochet and maybe trying to sell some of the stuff I have laying around. I really do find crochet relaxes me but in the summer no one is really looking to order so I make things I have no purpose for so thinking maybe I could sell some of it for some extra cash.

We went to some Canada Day festivities as a family. The kids loved the parade. They played on the bounce houses, swings, games, and petting zoo. Dh got a burger and drink because he didn't want to eat breakfast before we left the house. Everyone was overheating, so we headed home for some AC and naps. Dh took our son to see the fireworks. Next year the twins will be old enough to enjoy the fireworks too.
I sorted the two bins of clothes that my neighbour dropped off a while ago. Most of the clothes are big ones that our oldest son will eventually grow into. I have 2 baskets of laundry waiting to be folded. I washed the bedding from cribs and already put it back on again. I vacuumed the living room and both of the kids' bedrooms.
This morning we had the kids in the back yard with the water table before it got too hot. The entire forecast says highs of 32-36 with no forecast of rain. I weeded the carrots and found two more volunteer tomato plants. I still need to weed the swiss
chard, beets, and lettuce. We watered the garden and the lawn. We rarely water the grass, but the lawn is turning yellow and that doesn't feel nice on little bare feet.Last edited by Angela273; Sun, Jul 2nd, 2017 at 11:00 PM.
