thankful for my DH and DS today. DH has been building DD a new bed for about a month, ( or more ?? ) the rainy weather kept hampering his progress as he used the backyard to do this, and you can only do so much of it under the gazebo.
Well today him and DS hauled all the heavy pieces upstairs and they put it all together!
It is huge! And stunning! The built in bookshelf at the headboard is so practical for my avid reader!
Wait till she sees it!! ( She is not done work yet )

So thankful that my husband got through a serious surgery well; very grateful to his surgeon and medical team. Further to that, thankful to his GP who tweaked into that there was something wrong - a condition for which there were no symptoms, but which is life-threatening - and him sending my husband for an ultrasound led to all of this happening quickly within a week.
