So we went to Ottawa today armed with 60 $1 kind bars and 10 $5 coupons.
At the first Metro, we went in two times and got 22 kind bars @.99 each. Just pay tax.
At the first Sobeys, we got four Ozery products at @3.99 each and used two $5 coupons. These sell for $4.49 in Montreal.
At the second Metro, we went in two times and got 20 kind bars.
At RCSS, we price matched 12 kind bars. While we were selecting, an elderly couple were also selecting. I took my DD aside and asked her if she took an extra copy of the Metro flyer. She did. So I went up to the couple and asked them if they knew how to price match. Yes, they did. So I gave them the flyer and pointed to the kind bar sale. Then I gave them six $1 coupons to use. They were appreciative. I also got a loaf of french bread (450g) for $1. It's at least $2 at Maxi for this size. Maybe bread prices are getting lower. We can hope for Quebec. Also, Ozery products were $4.09 at RCSS.
At the second Sobeys, we got 6 Ozery products, [email protected], and [email protected] and used three $5 coupons. We saw in the flyer that fresh corn was on sale for 15 each. This was at 7:00PM. The produce boy was dumping cartons and cartons in the bin. First of all, I have never seen fresh corn at 7:00 at night. Usually, it's been sitting there all day, warm and wilty. Gross. Second, I have never seen a produce guy replenish anything at 7:00 at night. I bought 18 of them. We made six when we got home. These are sweet and crunchy and ginormous. Usually, I eat 2 or 3 because our stock is so tiny. These, I eat 1 and a half and I'm full. They are so big but not tough. I love Sobeys.Last edited by couponmummy; Sun, Jul 1st, 2018 at 12:08 AM.

I saw in the flyer that IGA had portabello mushrooms on sale. I've been curious about trying to make portabello burgers and thought I might pick up a package. Just happened to visit a farmer's market and they were selling them $2 each. They had one already packaged but I asked if they had a nicer one. The girl brought me one not yet packaged, that was nice and really huge, which I bought. It should make enough for 2 meals on a big hamburger bun with some veggies on the side. I weighed it when I got home - 130g for $2 vs IGA’s $3.99 for 170g

Ya every cashier can be a pain but if you have the stores list of what they pm its very easy to proove them wrong and get your pm a cashier has to follow what the store pm just say call over manager i know exactly what this store pm. i have never had a problem since i Know for a fact what my store pm because i talk to a manager at every store and know my stuff so one snotty cashier doesnt intimidate me in the slightest .

When I got home I checked my unopened emails and one of them was a SDM offer of buy any shampoo or conditioner and get one. I printed two copies of it (one for my card and one for my wifes card) The coupon is only valid until 9:00 tonight. I bought a very expensive shampoo that I use once a week (Regular price at SDM is about 19.50 but I normally would buy at RCSS for about 17.00) so to get two for about 20 plus the reg points they have is a bonus
My wife used her coupon to buy my youngest daughter expensive shampoo and conditioner that she really likes that we will save as stocking stuffers for xmas
