@Angela273 sorry for your loss... @SassyAshley sorry for your loss..

sorry it took so long i don't exactly can see on tapatalk on how to see your nics as well as remember them i am on a computer today. So it makes it easier.

today i woke up super early and ate Cesar salad i have no clue why i wasn't hungry i was just grazing. The sun right now is blaring bright through the fog it must be cold outside oh yay. I been listening to my phones music for several hours for something to do. Someone knocked on my door i did not answer at all, considering i just heard it over my headphones which is just barely it was around 7am.

The staff is making pancakes using a wet measure to measure dry ingredients i can tell you they aren't too bright if they are doing that....the sausages in the oven smell bad its not good. \

I am going to no frills today i need some groceries and its dollar days there. Then i sold a bunch of things to someone and i am delivering them to their place of work, and they will pay the me the money.

my amazon orders have shipped one is stuck in ottawa stating there is weather issuses/natural disaster....i am not sure about that because i don't live there so i could suspect that of course. the other one left the seller from china. I am waiting on 3 previous orders that i ordered i believe on GST day/last month.

I keep thinking about this soup but not doing anything about it...which is always what i have issues with because i do this all the time...it calls for 2lbs of potatoes..and i have 5lbs...i guess i better go upstairs and start it at least...instead of thinking about it...

Edit: soup is on the go in the crock pot.

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
I must admit not a lot going on here today.

It was cold and a wet snow coming down, closer to rain then snow but to be honest given the circumstances I did not notice how bad the weather was until I got home and realized I was soaked right through. It was a nice simple ceremony at the grave site, although in many ways it seems to unreal that it is all over now. All my sibs went back to Dad's house afterwards but due to my cold it was suggested it would be best for me to come home.

I did not feel like working and did have the afternoon off so no one would be expecting me to work but I also could not just sit. So I ended up trying to clean the kitchen. I say try because even just standing at the sink washing dishes I kept going into coughing fits and being forced to stop. I got about half of the dishes done before my water got cold and I was exhausted.

There is still so much I should be doing today but I must admit I am seriously lacking ambition. I am really hoping I feel better after the weekend as I have already booked myself a number of meetings and appointments next week to try to get back into the swing of things.

Well I either need to talk myself into getting something done or taking a nap. Have a great day everyone.

    Recall on Jane’s chicken burgers.
“The product was listed with a best before date of May 14, 2019. The recall covers products carrying the code UPC – 0 69299 12491 0 as well as the outer box lot code 2019 MA 14 EST 374 and inner bag lot code 1348M.”

I have one bag of them in my freezer, but don’t have the box because it had the $4 coupon on it. I guess I just throw it out to be on the safe side. Would the company help us if we call?

I went to no frills and spent 45.84 after tax. I got 4x nestea tetra 1L, no name salted butter, dairyland whipping cream litre, Garlic sausage coil, 2x blueberry pies, 2x ziggy’s Mediterranean pasta salads, sour cream, gaylea real whipped cream, 4x Betty Crocker icing, 2x sugar crisp, 2x pillsbury sturdels. Mostly everything was on sale besides the butter, whipping cream, whipped cream, and garlic sausage.

I have bacon in the oven I just took it out it’s really crispy. I think I over cooked it oh well. It’s a garnish for the soup.

I have now go downstairs and take out my recycling and trash.

Rather happy with my timing of having done some raking and plant trimming yesterday. I did take a nap as the afternoon wore on-it was like my body was wanting sleep as the sky had clouded over. Still feeling somewhat off when I lifted a heavy trash bag or rolled a filled green cart. I did wipe down the interior of the garbage shed and sloshed soapy water on the lid and sides. Minibarn door hinges are oiled. Have to get moving on the other hinges and knobs so they are done before Wednesday. Two chairs and a table will need to be moved into the barn soon-will admit I'm stalling as when the weather's been mild, Mom sometimes spends a few minutes in the afternoon sitting on a chair for air.
Body is still not happy with the biopsy sampling and that upper breast is sore still. Time to apply some magnesium gel to see if things mend.

Printed off a chicken cacciatore recipe from the Ricardo site-their Twitter post said it's their most popular recipe. The recipe will come in handy for the second week of November. I intend to bake some cookies, a quick bread and muffins next week and stock the freezer so I will only need to defrost and heat things as they are needed.

Was happy that I actually watched The Post movie on DVD this morning! Had a hot chocolate with the movie. Will pop some popcorn tonight for snacking.

Sibling installed Dad's shaving mirror in the main bathroom but did not apply bumpers on the hinge so that it won't scratch or mark the big mirror over the sink. I left sibling with a bag of parts that had clear plastic bumpers in it, as he asked me if we had any. Sibling wants his metal handheld shower unit in the main bathroom but my white one is there. He wants me to put my white unit downstairs (the non-moving large showerhead in the basement bathroom is not working out for me so a handheld unit would be welcome). I want Mom to decide which unit she wants in the bath area. Cannot believe that Dad has not realized for a month that all his shaving supplies are in the main bathroom (most are visible while extra items are in the vanity). Which has me wondering what's going on with his vision.

Broiled some turkey burgers for breakfast and had leftover white long grain rice with my two burgers. Did cook the remaining frozen California mix veggies for lunch for Mom to have with her burger and salad.
Drawing a complete blank about supper-probably leftovers from the fridge with a fresh pot of long grain rice.
    Tomorrow-???
Monday will be banking and grocery stock up day, with a baking focus.

Cold is worse today, apparently I was snoring last night as I am so congested. Tried nighttime Tylenol cold and sinus but it kept me off half the night. Time for hot water and lemon. Picked up a cast iron pan at Canadian tire for $19.99 yesterday and another old navy fleece jacket for $19.94 as I had another $10 off coupon. Wish I bought more when they were on for $10 as they are so warm.

This morning I took all the kids with me to Walmart. I SCOPed two, two packs of glow necklaces. We’ll wear them while trick-or-treating. I wanted to pm Fruit to Go bars (NF) and use my $2 off coupons, but the supervisor said I couldn’t pm and use coupons on the same item. That was news to me. I got the $2 off any Sunrype coupons mailed to me from the manufacturer after having an issue with the company. I plan on going to NF on Tuesday evening, since gymnastics is cancelled for the week and Dh will be home. We bought a pumpkin for $2.47 because a note came home from school telling us to send a carved pumpkin with a battery operated tea light to school on Halloween. I bought the tea lights at Dollarama the other day.

It’s fairly nice out today and should be good tomorrow too. I plan on taking our kids outside to play after nap time.

@Sasseyashley & @Angela 273 so sorry to hear of the death of your loved ones. Its never easy regardless of the age.
Older son took me to lunch today and we had a nice time at a Thai restaurant. Then we went to Ikea to pick up a small book case for his room. I used some PC pints to stock up on a few things buut there is not much we need. DH has been menu planning so that helps. Yesterday the older son made spaghetti carbonera and want pancetta instead of bacon for the dish so I took advantage of his employee discount and went with him to the grocery store. Not very low calorie but very yummy and he is trying lost of new recipes so who am to say no to someone else cooking my dinner.

Today's finds: 6 McDonald's Monopoly game pieces, $3.80 in containers and a bus driver's ID badge (how it ended up on a road shoulder, I have no idea). Will see if I can get a bus driver to take the ID back to the garage/HR.
Popped into Talize-today's promotion is 50% off men's and women's short sleeve tops. Saw some black tops but I already have two. Did spot some potential men's pj bottoms in brushed cotton. Did not buy a sewing pattern (they are not priced or clearly, unlike VV which stickers or tags just about everything). Happy cheery hand towel find at $1.99-perfect for basement bathroom use!
Stopped into Upper James Walmart-no flannel pj sets for men, just brushed poly pants or the blue woven cotton set I already saw at my home store. Remain envious that there is an express checkout lineup area for 4 tills at this store. Ancaster store got rid of its area last year. Did buy a Peace Tea for $1.00-very refreshing after all of my walking.
Denningers on Upper James-still no sighting of Burda Style magazine (probably no longer stocked at this location). Did notice packaged gift baskets, teapots (want!), and towels. In refrigerated foods area, there is a freezer with 10 kinds of Hewitt's ice cream (from Hagersville) for $9.99. What a great find-must return to get a carton another time (Swiss Chip, Cotton Candy, Vanilla, etc.).

Bonus Senior's Day at Hudson's Bay (60+) and Home Outfitters will be held this Tuesday, Oct.30! I was looking online at the Bay site and some men's handkerchieves are on sale. Why handkerchieves? I found the import store holiday catalogue in Das Journal (Oct. 24 edition) and there are three ladies' hanky sets and three men's hanky sets in the catalogue. Kind of leery about the $12.50 shipping charge for first kg of order, so I went to the Bay's site to see what's available. Two pack linen hankies for sale price $25.50 or 13 cotton hankies for same price. There are pricier single hankies-most are online order only.
