Lady at customer service had a mistake that I didn't notice till I got home. She accidentally put in one of the $2 Crest as $12! So I went back to correct it and pay the extra $10 I should've paid and she was very thankful that I did come back to correct that error.

Was a Beechwood Zehr's -Waterloo this afternoon - big size (750gr.) Quality Street octagon tins on sale for 4.99. They are usually close to $17. (They had lots left. They make great Valentines gifts and are not packaged for Christmas.) All the Christmas themed (green and red) baked goods $1each. I picked up 6 packages of iced shortbread cookies for our church Sunday sharing. Dyed orchids priced at $15. I didn't buy one as it was so cold outside, I thought I would kill it getting it home.

Went to Zehrs tonight and found quite a deal. Kelloggs cereals....Frosted Flakes, Corn pops and Fruit loops had 50% off stickers. Plus promo on right now- Buy 2 boxes of Kelloggs cereal and get free milk. I bought 8 boxes of cereal and 4 x 4L milk for $16.00. Even if you don't want the cereal you could donate it and still save money on milk. ($4.00 each) FYI- There were 2 different sizes of cereal ringing in for 1.99. I bought the following sizes which were the larger boxes. (corn pops-320g, Frosted flakes-425g and Fruit loops-345g.

He jokingly said, "Well I've been a longstanding customer for a number of years. Can you lower my monthly rate at all? To make a long story short he returned home to inform me we would be paying $50 less/month. That is a $600 savings! Never hurts to ask.

Was low on eggs and planned to pick up 2-3 dozen at SDM as part of the Brands You Love promo. The weekday price was $2.49 (hard for me to get there on the w/e when it’s on sale). Then saw that IGA had them for 2/$3.50 as of this week’s flyer. So I passed on getting them at SDM which worked out because they were out of almost everything I had planned to pick up for the Brands promo. Besides using them for baking, etc. I eat 2 eggs/day 6 days a week and on Wednesday ate the last 2 eggs so had zero eggs in the house. That is a first for me! I made sure to get to IGA on Thursday and picked up 3 dozen eggs. It felt good stocking up at that price. I may go back for more after the weekend!
