After all my binging over Sat/Sun i went with OMAD for Monday and also today.
Today's meal was at 3 p.m.
I had a healthy serving of steak ( pressure cooked soft like a hard cheese ) with lots of browned onions, juices from the pot and a plate full of oven roasted veg.
( snow peas, green beans, mushrooms, yellow and green zucchini, broccoli and baby bok choy. )
A Tassimo coffee chaser....should be set now till tomorrow afternoon.

Rainbow trout fillet, and thinking salad and perhaps rice.
I was at Bulk Barn the other day and they had black rice.
Thought I would give forbidden rice a whirl.

BBQ tonight but all veggies. Corn, Red Onions, Zucchini, Jalapeños directly on the grill and chic peas in a grill pan until toasted. Makes a great salad with some red wine vinegar, parsley and other herbs

early this a.m. I asked DH and DS if they had any requests for their next work meal. DS sheepishly inquired if I had the " stuff " to make Adobo chicken? I do. He said he loved the batch I made a short while ago.
Then DH wanted to know if I could prepare some of the chicken in a crumbed coating and bake them for him instead. No problemo.
At the same time I was sort of apologizing about the fact that I HAD to make up a cream cheese/nacho/7 layer dip today as well because the sour cream and cheese in the fridge were nearing their expiry dates.
They both chuckled at that.....no need to apologize they said.....just make it! ha ha
Kitchen is clean again, all is done.
