A decent cosmetics deal last Thur. My wife doesn't spend very much on them and can be quite selective about what she uses, including a couple of big-ticket items that are most readily available at SDM where they are seldom if ever more than 20% off. So, I was pleased to be able to build a deal for her based on one that's reg. price $99.

The main item was less the seniors discount, and we had a 2k for every $10 personal offer for that brand; this was just luck since neither of us had bought it since at least mid-2019. With another thing that was on sale plus a couple of small ones that weren't, the bill came to $116+ ($129+ including tax). The week's main flyer offer was 20x wus $75, so I got 48,801 points back, a good but not great ratio, but the deal was particularly timely since Fri. was Valentine's Day.

Doesn't the PC Optimum offers usually say spendings AFTER coupons and other discounts/before taxes? Do you still automatically earn the points when you use the FPCs? Or does this situation depend on how the cashier enters the coupons?

Any clarifications would be greatly appreciated! PCO offers+coupons/point redemption still confuses me so much...

@CheriLyn coupons are like cash at RCSS you get the points on the total before coupons. Doesn’t matter how the cashier enter the coupons. Hope this helps

A few of the quaker deals came back on Caddle today so I took advantage of them

    RCSS
    2 x Capn Crunch 2.28 each - 2 x 1.00 coupons - 5.00 Caddle = 2.44 profit
    4 x Catelli smart pasta 1.50 each (pm Freshco) - 4 x 1.00 coupons - 2.00 Caddle = free
    1 x 10lb potatoes 1.98 - 400 points (digial offer) = 1.58
    2 x iceburg lettuce 1.00 each (pm NoFrills) - 600 points (digital offer) = .70 each
2 x Kraft peanut butter 3.77 each (pm GT)(was hoping for a better deal but we ran out

    NoFrills
    4 x Palmolive dish soap 1.00 each - 2 x 1.00 off when you buy two = .50 each
Also stocked up a bit on their dollar deals like mushroom and asparagus and grape tomatoes

This is not a brag but a FYI to people with the FPC for Morningstar vegie burger coupons and have CO51 that they have upped their offer to 2.00 on each one. I wish i would of saved my coupons until now and i would of doubled the profit off of this deal.

    At Zehrs:

    11 x Activia tubs @ $2.99 each = $32.89
    1 x Activia 8's @ $3.99 = $3.99
    for a total of $36.88

    Earned:
    18,000 in-store points (6,000/$12.00 spent) = $18.00 value
    7,200 digital points (600 points/$3.00 spent) = $7.20 value

    Used:
    6 x $1.50 WUB2 Activia products (tear-pad coupon) = $9.00

    $36.88 - $18.00 (in-store points value) - $7.20 (digital points value) - $9.00 (coupons) = $2.68 total for all that Activia yogurt!

At RCSS, there were some amazing toy clearance deals so I bought some to donate and some I'll keep. I bought multiples of:

Fisher Price Little People Friendship Boat @ $9.94

    Lego Monster Truck @ $6.24

Play Doh Starter Set @ $1.94 (comes with 4 cans and 9 accessories)

Play Doh Fun Factory Set @ $1.94 (comes with 2 cans and extruder)

Play Doh Baby Shark Set @ $6.94 (comes with 12 cans and accessories)

Since I also had a digital toy offer of 1,000 PC Optimum points for every $5.00 spent on toys, I earned 20% back in points!

That is nice of you to donate some of the toys. I will look next time I am in RCSS to see if they are selling off any toys and do the same

RCSS is offering a FREE Rubbermaid Fresh Works Produce Saver 3-Pack, priced at $24.98, if you purchase $225 or more in a single transaction.

Between all the toys I bought (see above), along with groceries (lots of price-matching with No Frills $1.00 sale), I went just over the $225.00 mark and received the FREE set.

    But I received another Freebie I had not expected . . .

I had a digital PC Optimum offer of 1,000 points for every $5.00 spent on "kitchen prep and dinnerware". On my receipt, I saw that I received 5,000 points for that offer, even though I didn't purchase anything in that department. However, since the Rubbermaid set was scanned in at $24.98, it counted as a purchase and I received 5,000 points (worth $5.00 value). Even though the $24.98 coupon for the set was scanned in, making it free, it still counted as a purchased item. Nice surprise!

Thanks. None of these toys are showing up as available online at RCSS so it's possible they will be marked down in other RCSS stores, as well. There were also other toys, games and Play Doh sets that were clearance priced but these I listed are just the ones I purchased.

There is one type of coupon that from what I have seen can affect points earned. Save It Forward coupons if entered properly by the cashier can have an affect (Scanned VS. Manufacturer coupon).

They might not directly affect points earned on the item itself, but can affect for total spend offers. Since the discount is taken off within the receipt (As a line item) and not at the end as a form of tender for the purchase.
Although by the looks of it, Save It Forward may be "dead", since we just had it at RCSS, and it was those loadable points offers and not the physical coupons as we always had.
