Happy Hump day! Nice day out today! I will take it.
DS ate his leftovers late last night so he will have to figure out lunch today. I forgot to put the chicken in the slow cooker this morning. So I may go home at lunch and do it so it doesn't mess up my dinner plans.
Laundry needs to be started tonight! And 1 bathroom needs attention. Will shower then wash the shower curtain and liner in washer and hang it back up to dry. Will give the bathtub a good spray and scrub while the curtain is washing. The window blinds need to be tossed and the window cleaned so that is on the list tonight too!
Have a great day everyone!

Morning all-here is a tip I heard on CHCH this morning how to keep bananas fresher longer, put a small piece of saran wrap -wrap it around the top little tips of the bunch of bananas .I never knew this ,plus keep tomatoes out of the fridge they lose their taste and become mealy and always store with the stem up .
A little ticked that it has been 7 days and Walmart hasn't credited my online grocery order with a credit to my mastercard (it may only be $6.40 but still from ad matching ) so I am calling the 1-800 because at store level they cant do a thing I was told this morning -even if I came in he said (I told him I am not going in anystores anyway) Fortinos had no problem taking my credit card number over the phone and giving me a credit -so my rant for the day .
Update -just chatted with the 1-800 Walmart number after waiting awhile-she is looking into it and gave me a confirmation number I will see it soon ,they will send me an email first -so glad I called .Last edited by coupon girl; Wed, May 6th, 2020 at 11:00 AM.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Oh what a busy day again. I have one more meeting today and then I should be done with meetings. Then to just get work done.
I worked until almost 9 pm last night but tonight my goal is to stop working at a "normal" time. Last night I did take a break and helped with dinner, I chopped the veggies which may sound weird but I find chopping so relaxing it was a nice break.
We just noticed our dinning room chairs are literally falling apart. I have not been a fan of this set since we bought it. I tried to look at some options online but buying anything right now is so hard. I do not like the idea of buying chairs I have never sat on. I found some nice ones I liked that were reasonably priced but there is a message at check out that during covid it is currently taking minimum 6 weeks for parcel shipments to ship, so that does not work. Plus I wanted 2 and could only get 1. Going to have to see if there are any other options. I am kind of torn on what to do as we have also discussed getting rid of the table and making a working island that we could put bar stools up to if we wanted to eat there. Grrr this is not the time for this.
Alright well back to work for my last meeting. Have a great day everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Good Evening Everyone,
I did it, I managed to stop working a little after 4 pm, which compared to the last couple of days, I will take it. Although tomorrow I am hosting a "test" webinar at 5 pm so I think I will take a break around 2, tackle something around the house and then go back to work. We are aiming for the webinar to be 30 minutes or less it is just so everyone participating in the webinar can practice how all of the features in the program work.
When I was done work, I started prepping dinner, Mom peeled the potatoes and did the pork chops, I did all the chopping, it is weird but it feels so normal to get back to making dinner as it seems like most nights I am still working. Well dinner was cooking I took a shower and that just kind of felt like okay my day is done.
Mom and I discussed our dinning room situation and I think we have decided we are getting rid of our dinning room table. Instead we are going to build a craft/work area that will just be more functional for us. If we wanted to eat there we still can but we would be sitting on stools vs chairs and it would be big enough for 4 of us to sit there. Honestly we do not use our dinning room that often as normally we just sit and eat in the living room. I am happy with this as I kind of feel like the dinning room is wasted space, we do not use it (well except now it is my office) and because we don't use it it is an easy dump ground. Stuff gets put in the dinning room and just lives there. Even know that I am using it for my office constantly stuff gets put there and than when I need my office I have to move everything. Now to figure out how much this will cost us.
Had a little bit of a down moment today, as we have all mentioned grocery shopping is going up and although I was happy with our shop I got a little down today as I looked at the hidden Costco sale and see like 5 things we bought last week are on sale this week. Granted most things are like a $1 off but my frugal side is screaming , especially since I wanted to shop this week but Mom insisted we go last week as she was worried about the meat supply. Ultimately it, is what it is and I reminded myself we made this choice to try to only shop once a month to try to limit our exposure, still it felt like a hard pill to swallow.
I have so many little things I want to get done around the house, I thought working from home would make this easy but really I feel like it is opposite, I feel I have less time to spend on my house. Maybe this weekend I will try to have a big push on getting stuff done around the house. We were going to clean off the couch today where Mom sits but she wanted to finish her journal first and it is taking longer than she expected. We will see if we get it done tonight or tackle it tomorrow.
Alright off to find some me time, have a great night everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
