Before I ate anything, I downed a glass filled with boiled water ( cooled down ), 1 tblsp lemon juice, 1 tsp honey and 1/4 tsp toasted Kalonji seeds.
Then breakfast was a hard boiled egg, 1/2 of a Joseph's Mini pita bread smeared inside with 2 Tblsp hummus, with zucchini & carrot strips shoved in there too. 3 Tblsp Greek yogurt mixed with carefully weighed grams of 4 different diced fruits, mixing in Splenda, vanilla and cinnamon too.
Oven roasted 4 long slices of zucchini that I sprinkled Kalonji seeds on. Very filling.

A larger than normal breakfast for me again. This happens when I get doing something else, then suddenly see it's after 10:00 a.m.
Today I enjoyed a mini Lavash pita, split in half. One half was smeared with hummus and veg strips inside, the other half was my " bread base.
Melted a slice of Swiss on it, topped with a soft yolk fried egg and topped that with some diced tomatoes.
Enjoyed with the last bowl of the bell pepper/cauliflower soup made 3 dyas ago. Yogurt with diced fruit and 2 x 5 calorie Jello cups with 2 squirts of canned light whipped cream. Oh and a coffee! Yep, it was a big meal.

Switched things up using less of my 1200 daily calorie allotment for breakfast today so I could enjoy a couple of " mains " at both lunch and dinner.
So far, so good!
Used less than 300 on breakfast, with close to 370 on both lunch and dinner and very near 150 on the before bedtime snack.
All entrees are homemade, 1 cup of red pepper/cauliflower soup for both lunch and dinner, as well as a serving of Shepherd's pie at each.
2 cups garden salad at lunch, while at dinner I'll nosh on a fake pizza using 1/2 of a Lavash Pita circle for the crust.
Great dining at home!
Oh yes, for both lunch and dinner I have dessert! 2 cups at both meals of the 5 calorie Jello cups with a few squirts of light canned whipped cream.
Bedtime snack is air popped popcorn ( again! ) I have come to enjoy it with garlic powder sprinkled over it.
Along with a dish filled with small amounts of apple, blueberries and strawberries mixed with more whipped cream.

We had to take one of our cats ( Hamlet ) in for dental extractions this morning. Awful feeling to leave him there.
I wanted to make sure I did NOT stress eat, so sipped a strong black coffee before I planned out what to have.
Ended up with a very enjoyable Joseph's mini pita, with the 2 halves filled up with melted Bocconcini cheese, sauteed
red pepper strips and sliced mushrooms, fresh cilantro leaves and diced green onions.
A plop of hummus and cucumber sticks on the side.

I’ve done it 2 ways. One with a banana, full fat coconut milk, vanilla, cinnamon. But my personal favourite is with liquid Just Egg , almond milk and cinnamon. The first one is stuff I always have on hand but the second one tastes more like the French toast I remember. Plus I use the leftovers for scrambled “eggs” or an omelette.

@walkonby here’s to a speedy kitty dental recovery. I always hated leaving my baby at the vet even though I knew he was in the best care

@harbie ty so very much! I was an emotional mess last night but Hamlet stayed on the bed in the spare room with me for the entire night.
It was like having a mini furnace laying next to you. Thank goodness his purr motor was working very well. It tells me he felt safe again.
It's all about the pain meds for today and tomorrow and the antibiotics for 8 days but I'm sure he'll be healed up.
He is so much my baby!
