Went out for breakfast today to one of our favourite spots, then back to my brothers to do some wedding prep, I was on spray paint and power washing. Two things I love, but omg, I was filthy after the power washer😂.
I also managed to do three submissions for the weekend air miles offer so fingers crossed it works.
I talked to my kids yesterday and they advise they are going to my bffs for dinner this week, I am blessed with amazing friends.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

I saw the SC blog post about Shoppers friends and family Tuesday event. Are there any phone accessories thatvwould be eligible for 20% off? I have my eyes on a cable for sync/charge with three ends.

Good Morning Everyone,
A slower start to this Monday morning than I would have liked. I was up at 5 but did not get out of bed because I was feeling lazy and was enjoying listening to the rain, it felt calming but I feel back asleep, big mistake, I know better.
I am up, I am working, today is a catch up, organize, declutter my work life kind of day. I feel like I am so scattered at work because I am being pulled in various directions so today I just want to lay it all out and prioritize.
Also doing laundry because apparently it has been awhile, I could not find anything to wear today and the baskets are overflowing, OOPS. But that is going now.
I did not end up doing a large prep yesterday, I was going through the fridge to see what was there, what needed to be used up, what needed to go and I realized we don't really have any "meals" but we have lots of little things to use up. So I decided we need to get creative and use up these oddities so they don't go to waste.
I did do some produce prep and feel like we are in an okay place for the week. I wanted to go into the week with everything ready to go but instead it is going to take some creativity to use up these leftovers but as long as I can stay focused we should be good.
Last night I cooked a pork tenderloin in the Air Fryer, this is the first time I have cooked a non frozen meat (chicken fingers) in the Air Fryer, it was good I would make it again but it needs a little tweaking. I think I would lower the temp but cook it longer as the glaze which was so yummy started to burn a bit. But it was super yummy the glaze has Dijon, Balsamic, Olive Oil and Italian Seasoning in it. On the side I made Roasted Potatoes, and reheated some of the grilled veggies from the fridge (I had planned to use them up but there were too many so will need to use these again this).
Tonight's dinner is a mystery, we have options I am not just sure what I want. I have no cravings but I am not against anything either. As I type this, I am thinking maybe baked Tacos, this would use up some enchilada sauce we have in the fridge. We shall see.
Happy Monday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Happy Monday! Looks like a gray day!
Have a busy work morning but trying to get motivated. First sitting on hold to inquire about a credit on bill that was to happen last month. (Paper bill fee- Which I never received and I signed up for the emailing of the bill as soon as I was notified)
Re-washing a load of laundry that I washed the 1st time on Saturday. Whoops! I guess I completely forgot about it. Will dry and put it away today.
Winners- I need to start popping in there more often to pick up clearance socks and undies for my boys for their Christmas bag. (It's large and I wrap everything.) I did pick up socks for the oldest on the weekend but he had said he needed socks so I gave them to him. I will go back today and get another package for each of them. I need to start!
TP- Will pick up some today for winter stock up.
Have a great day!

A happy frugal day to all you gals. I've been quite diligent over the last 3-4 days making sure stuff in the fridge doesn't get pushed to the back and forgotten.
As you had mentioned @SassyAshley making a meal from the items that have seen better days in the crisper is rewarding. This morning I finally made the chili.
DH and DS had packed a different Monday work meal with a hodgepodge of remnants from the weekend dinners, so they said " no rush on the chili. "
Almost had a disaster with the chili....check this out.

@Frugalbigmama I laughed because we have " forgotten " about a washer load a few times and when you open the lid? Pee EW!
A rewash is needed.
Planning to stay put today, don't need gas or food, no Dr. appointments so it's a pj day ( again ).

My poor cat STELLA suddently died this earlier morning......

I am truly devastated and hearthbroken....very this is sad.....

I think it is because her heart murmur was bigger than I taught.....

I hope she did not suffer......

30 minutes earlier she was sleeping and doing okaie...
That is so unfair....

I always taught EVE because she is much older and sick would died before STELLA.... I just hope now that EVE will not have a reaction to that and absence.
Now all I want to do is cry and lying in my bed all the day.....

R. I. P beautiful STELLA.....

You will miss us...

I feel empty..She was loved and very well treated.I will cherish now many good memories....She is now an angel in paradise.good little girl...

@cath007 I am devastated for you discovering sweet Stella had passed on. We never plan for the impact it will have on us when we lose our furbabies. The many tears you are shedding now will eventually dry up and hopefully your happy memories of Stella will return. Hugs!!!

Rescued 4x ears of corn and 9x very old cans pasta sauce and beans from a trip to the dump. There's a can of Heart of Palm in there. I wonder how they taste. Found a case of 22x water bottles abandoned in RCSS parking lot, too. Schlepped 11 litres of the stuff home. Ugh. It's only water, but I simply abhor waste of anything.
My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

@cath007 sorry to hear about your cat. It sounded like she had a good life.
I took my girls shopping for some back to school stuffs. Got some tops and bottoms at $1/each. Lots of summer hats on clearance for $1/each (George brand) but most of the baseball caps have some pictures like rainbow or happy face, and I found one with no picture, a plain solid color of light dusty pink for myself $1. Two closed toes sandals for my girls $9/pair; they are not dressy but good for running and climbing at playgrounds.

then at RCSS, we bought the PC crispy shrimps $1.94. They took 5 minutes longer in my convention oven and they tasted ok, not a lot of shrimps and the shrimps were pretty small and 1 shrimp per item

Good Morning! Started my day earlier then normal today.
Kitchen is clean.
Coffee made. I think my cheapy coffee maker is on its last legs. I will try running vinegar through it this morning and then see if it works tomorrow.
Picked up 2 packages of drumsticks yesterday at No Frills just incase the guys wanted them for dinner last night. They are still in the fridge so I will spice them up and toss them in the oven early this afternoon. They won't last long in this house.
Fridge is so clean and organized. I cooked up ground beef yesterday and had simple dinner of the beef with the sunflower crunch salad. Leftover beef can be used for nachos or to whip up a quick meat pasta sauce. Will freeze tomorrow morning if nobody eats it today.
We are set for Egg mcmuffins for a few weeks! Picked up 4 packages of English muffins yesterday for .25 cents each! I sliced them up and put in the freezer so it is easy to pull as needed and toast it. We have 3 x 18pk eggs (plus 2 eggs) but I may buy another 18pk on sale today at FB. Youngest enjoys breakfast for dinner often when he gets home from work.
Enjoy the day!
