I stock up on toilet paper

I disagree. On a purely 'roll-by-roll' basis, I have found the occasional sales by Sobeys and RCSS to be better prices for 2-ply. Of course, quality and comfort are personal and subjective.

Their prescriptions cost less than Shoppers

Long ago, I checked on their prescribing fee and it was about $4, compared to the $7 or $11 charged by other dispensing outlets. I have stuck with CostCo pharmacy, ever since then.

See, costco tp, I don't buy... I find when I buy them comparable size at rcss/ independent on sale for 14.00 ish .. much better price. but that's me

Morning ,barbis i dont have a costco membership -dont care to.My son does if i need something when he goes i will ask him .

Herman and Giseldta-i agree i found larger toilet papers cheaper at sobeys ,food basics etc .Plus i have bought kirkland toilet paper last year and found it too rough for my liking .

I've heard that honey at the grocery stores has extra sugar added, etc. and is not 100% honey. Whereas honey purchased from a farm is way better and 100% pure. You can taste the difference.

Local honey tastes different because it is single-source while grocery store honey, unless it says otherwise, is blended to taste similar all the time.

@Arjon you have to watch the sales that they have each month. I just got Kicking horse coffee 2.2 pounds (1kg) of beans for $19.99, Colgate sensitive toothpaste (4 x120ml) for $13.49, Jet Dry 374 uses $11.99. Kirkland products are great - I stock up on toilet paper, allergy meds (generic Claritin 200 tabs $9.99), pet food, etc. Their prescriptions cost less than Shoppers, so do their glasses and contact lenses. They have a generous return policy - don't need a receipt as they can look up your previous purchases. But I do admit, you do have to be careful as it does add up quickly.

I'm sure Costco works for some people, but for the things I buy, I still haven't seen enough deals to think I would easily save enough to cover the membership fee. If that were so, I'd sign up in an instant.

That's great for you. For me, we don't use propane. As for gas, when I compare net prices by factoring in the discounts, cashback and loyalty points I get, there is little if any difference per liter. In addition, we use a relatively limited amount, and while there is a Costco within my shopping range, there are stations for every major brand that are closer and more convenient since I pass by or nearby more often which means I never have to line up.

I popped over to walmart again was there 2 days ago .I wanted to buy my hubbys sister some sleep pants as she has lost a bit of weight and has none now hers are falling off her she told me .
She is on a disability and her money only goes so far after her rent .So i got 2 pairs of capri sleep pants 10.00 each ,not a bad price.

Then i had to look at the clearance

and 2 more scrubbing bubble toilet bowl cleaner 2/8.00-2.00 each checkout 51=2.00 each

Oh man this dog sitting the grand dog is not risk free. I was home shortly after hubs left for work and the dog had eaten 1/2 a loaf of banana bread cooling on the counter! Luckily I made 2-I will have to find a new cooling spot.

On Friday I defrosted my other small for drinks and wathever fits fridge.
I purchased ice cubes but it would had take too much time to defrost so I did it with a hair dryer.I dont want to put a risk to lost food.
Discovered the small part of the freezer dont work anymore...grrr
So as for now,
I am debatting if I should do a major cleaning and reorganize the freezer.
Or purchase a small freezer.
I could not fit everything I want like ice cream and frozen fruits.
If I could find a brand new not to expensive....that would be great....Will check...

Went to pick up that and 3 Whiskas wet food sachet with the FPC so it was FREE too.


I also donated the bag of dogs treats and food to my father friend.
He said thank you.
The content of the bag was 14 Pedigree wet food sachet, 1 Greenies treats,1 Dentastick treats,1 Zuke's treats, and 1 small Beneful wet food can.
Total cost 1,00$ plus taxes for the Dentastick, taxes for the Greenies.
Value of the bag 40-45$
So OOP:2,50$
I bet the dog will have a blast.

Good Evening Everyone,
It was a production day for me kind of, we are looking at changing our production programming so today we sat with the programmer to see what options we have.

I was all excited to shop at RCSS since it is close by but of course everything I had there I could cheaper somewhere else or for the same price so instead I shopped my way home stopping at Food Basics & No Frills. We did not need a lot but the $$ did add up as I grabbed some meat.

I wanted 2 packs of the Extra Lean Ground Beef that is on Sale at Food Basics but they only had 1 pack left so I price matched a second pack at No Frills. One will become Taco meat and one will become Cooked Ground Beef.

I also grabbed two Peameal at Food Basics for Mom.

For produce at Food Basics I got more Portobellos, Blackberries, Clementines and Asparagus.

At No Frills I got mini cucumbers, garlic, Limes and Peaches. I also grabbed some Bagels to toss in the freezer.

Everything I got was on sale except for the garlic.

Started another succulent NY striploin roast. Only 2 left. The irony is that I get better at cooking them, but I am running out.
