^^^@lizzie bargain do you eat yours with maple syrup or ketchup? I use ketchup and freak out the family, it's just how I like my French Toast.

definitely syrup. I didn't have any milk so I whisked a little plain yogurt with the egg which worked just fine.

I just put a pot of chili in the crockpot for an easy dinner. Hubs found a can of spaghetti sauce in the pantry that was 4 years old and he assured me we would be fine. I smelled it and tasted it and still alive-so went for it-lol.

Yesterday we had home made fried rice, sweet & sour pineapple pork, and garden carrots.
Tonight we had steak (discounted), mushrooms, M&C, and fresh garden peas.
Tomorrow we’ll have freshly dug red skinned potatoes, bratwurst sausages, sliced apples from the tree, and cooked frozen veggies.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

Some workers I know eat like Royalty when they hit the breakroom!! lol
My guys requested breakfast for dinner so that's what did....plus the No Frill $2.99 seedless watermelons are so red and sweet!
Wished I had bought 2 of them.

We all love my homemade chicken adobo, but I miss veggies. So, right now the adobo sauce and chicken thighs are simmering with thinly sliced slanted sliced carrots, celery, yellow and red bell peppers and both white and red onions. The broccoli florets I'll toss on top at the end. Beats watching these colourful veg soften in the fridge until we are forced to deal with them....oh but yes the nutritional bump is great too!

I picked up a masala dosa from an Indian food stall by the bus depot in Valetta, Malta for 5 euros. I think I will have it again tomorrow. 1 serving is easily 2 meals for me. A yummy vegetarian meal.

2 new to me recipes. One is lemon ricotta pasta and the other is a chickpea pasta dish. The chickpea one is more labour intensive,
similar to the stir, stir, watch, keep stirring method they make risotto.

I bought some chicken biryani and raita at an Indian stall-for about $12. Easily enough to feed me for 2-3 meals. Besides who wants to cook in this heat on holidays. Back home on Friday.

Okay, we are working on getting back on track again because Dinner has yet again become "What, Dinner again, didn't I just make that last night?"
I remembered we had some Broccoli in the fridge so last night I made Beef and Broccoli over Rice.
For some added veggies we included Mushrooms, Carrots and Celery.
Now, we start thinking about what I will make tonight.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

bwahaha!! @SassyAshley this!
" What, Dinner again, didn't I just make that last night?"
I feel exactly the same way which was why I searched for other pasta dishes. The guys were kind
after trying some of each. They see both as a side dish, not an entree. In other words WHERE'S THE BEEF?

@walkonby , I have to admit I do miss having nights of just me for dinner. Nights where I could make a simple meal and not always think about it being a "complete" meal. My Mom can be the same, this would be a great side dish where is I would eat it as a meal.
Change of plans tonight I was trying to decide between Yogurt Curry Chicken or Greek Chicken, well I never decided and did not marinate anything so plan b will be.
BBQ Chicken Tenders with Roasted Potatoes and Ceasar Salad.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Remember those steaks I bought from NF for $8.00 a piece? 3 of them became part of a stew! Seared and pressure cooked them whole first with the onions, mushrooms and celery. It took less than 5 minutes to cook the diced carrots and spuds ( added a can of gravy to it. ) Added the diced up steak back in and voila! Ample amount of freshly ground black pepper sprinkled in it. The guys have a nice hot work meal for Friday.
