Last night I cooked chicken strips, french fries, onion rings, served with tossed salad, cucumber salad, cherries and grapes.
Tonight I made sweet & sour pork with rice and mixed veggies.
Tomorrow I’ll turn the leftover rice into fried rice, which we’ll eat with the leftover sweet & sour pork.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

DS has the BBQ going ( in the light drizzle outside ) .....ha ha.
He must really want that Mexican Street corn made. Along with the cobs he's grilling bell peppers.
We're not all that hungry atm but sometimes the aroma of BBQ ad he look of the items is enough to
trigger an appetite!

Mini naan pizzas with caramelized onions and beyond steak bites with a bit of homemade garlic scape salt. Served with a loaded salad of shredded iceberg, green onions, purple cabbage, red peppers , honey crisp apples.

I'm feeling the urge to cook up the last small batch of chicken livers I had bought a few weeks back.
I had frozen the remainder of them after cooking up 1/2 of the tray. Plus I have gorgeous mushrooms that can
be sauteed along with the onions. It's settled then.

Tonight we will have chicken breasts on the bbq with mini potatoes (I'm going to cut them in halves and spice up and add onions and cook on cast iron pan) with veggies (a bag from the freezer that needs to be used up- mixed veggies with broccoli ) with salad. Cooking extra extra chicken so that will be perfect for wraps tomorrow night for dinner! Cook once eat twice

My friend dropped off dinner. Little flaky shells to fill with a chicken mixture, salad, cookies and banana bread. I don't think we will be hungry.

I got busy last night around 6 p.m. ( no Blue Jays game on so ?? ) I had only soaked my 5 cups of assorted beans for 4 hours. I was trying a newer shorter method involving adding 1 tsp of baking soda to the water for every cup of dry beans. Drained and thoroughly rinsed, it was time to pressure cook them. I added a couple extra minutes onto to the timer as was recommended. They were o.k. but too soft for my liking so next time I'll stick with the old cooking time of 4 1/2 minutes.
At the same time I boiled a 1/2 pkg. spaghetti, dumped in jars of sauce and oven roasted a pkg. of Marc Angelo meatballs. A quickie spaghetti and meatball entree! ha ha
The guys have work meal options.

Another sweltering work week ahead is what my guys are facing so it'll be cold meals ( sandwiches and salad's ) unless they request something cooked.
On Saturday night DH cooked up such an incredibly simple late diner for us. Started with cooking a bag of massive jumbo shrimp, chilled them and
remembered to put the cocktail sauce out. A sauteed veg medley with Vidalia onions, bell peppers, carrots, mushrooms, mixing in some smaller shrimp.
A side of freshly steamed brussel sprouts. We buttered up a few slices of that homemade bread to go with. Yummo!
