wow, August 11th was the last post?? Good morning all! Summer is obviously in full swing and members are out in the sunshine.
I decided to make yet another deep dish casserole of lasagna. Making it between 4 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. meant it was dead quiet as I worked.

Sure we won the game today ( in the 12th inning! ) BUT in tomorrow's final game against the Marlins we'll have no one left in the Bullpen after the starting pitcher finishes??
Maybe THEY won't have many left in their bullpen either.....so much fun to watch today. 7-6 final.

Did anyone see the Argos actually WIN today? 52-34 to beat the BC Lions ( only their 3rd win this year...lol )

yeah, I was right. We lost but good grief, their starter was a 6 foot 8 inch ACE! Our starter, ( Gausman ) gave us 6 innings. Oh well.

Uh oh....the Jays blew their 4-0 lead and lost tonight! Now there are only 4 games up on the Red Sox!

whew! Be still my heart! Bull pen reliever Hoffman was booed last night for blowing the game, tonight manager Schneider puts him right back in at the top of the 9th and he delivers the win! 9-8 for us!! The A/L East spread remains at 4 games between Red Sox and 4.5 with NYY. What a game!

All right, it's back to work/school day! Hooray said no one. Hope everyone has shared their last goodbye's to summer as it's all over now.
On a very, very happy ( almost giddy ) note, the Argos did something in the last minute of the game that STUNNED the Hamilton Ti-cats.
This Labour Day Classic matchup bring out the best and worst of the rivalry. Those of us that are lifelong Argo fans have been hanging our
heads in shame for the number of losses we've had but now we have FOUR wins.

Final was 35-33 for the Argos.

Today DH's cousin's had their bi-monthly " Cousin's Breakfast get together ".
There were 10 of us there this time. So much laughter. Many medical health issues
were shared and compared! lol. There was plenty of strolling down memory lane with
detailed accuracy in dates, times, which is especially funny and most of us walk into a
room at home and cannot recall why we came in there!
