Oldest DS is picking up his bed from the house on the weekend. (had to move my stuff off it- A printer for work I am not using and the Christmas wrapping paper bin!) I was just able to get rid of the tv stand he left here....he took the TV (mounted on his wall) so didn't need the stand. Glad to have that big thing out of the house!! Can't wait till the bed is gone .
Then I can clean the room and paint it. Then moving youngest back in there.

Have my cherry tomatoes cut in half and marinating in the fridge. (it was a huge bag- there will be tons of leftovers for tomorrow night) Thawing chicken. Will get cooking soon! I am starving.

Yes! Very slow. I remember reading that this site wasn't really maintained so there is a good chance one day we will try to log on and it will just be gone

Good day! Yeah it's Friday!!! The sun is shining and the sky is blue!

I am expecting a quiet work day. Have 2 things on my list to finish this morning and then I will able to start thinking about the weekend.

Dinner last night was fabulous! I used a can of coconut milk (Bought 2 on clearance shelf for under $1 with 2027 expiry) for the sauce and it was so good! It was a hit for all so it will made again next time I get the cherry tomatoes in the flash food box!

I'm going to tidy the kitchen before I leave and then I am off kitchen duty till Sunday!

I am watching my niece this evening and now she has a 2 hour volleyball practice so I am dropping her off there and then I will go to a few stores while I wait for her.

Ok off to get the things done!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    Good Morning,
Yes, it is quite slow this morning although it seem to have just recently started. I opened the website earlier and it seemed ok, but now it is really slow.

I am back, we had out AGM this week where all of our managers were in attendance. Normally it is held in our area where head office is so most can attend the meetings but also go home each night. This year they decided to hold it at a resort and brought everyone in and we all stayed on site for 2 nights. We were to arrive by 4 pm on Tuesday so we could have a group dinner. On Wednesday we were in meetings/presentations all day followed by a group activity and dinner. Then on Thursday we all had breakfast and headed back.

My original plan was to grocery shop my way home but I woke up with a such a headache I just wanted to come home. The resort was lovely, beautiful, worked for what we needed but almost all of us agreed the beds and pillows left something to be desired and I think that is what did me in.

Instead I just stopped at Zehrs since they had Milk on sale which is the only thing I could think of we might need for the weekend. Well I was there I also grabbed Strawberries ($2) and Sugar ($1.88) and the Milk ($5.15). Well I was in the Dairy department I found some 2L milks marked down to $1.78 each so I grabbed those plus some of the granola bars that are part of the Hit of the Month for $1.75 (I think) and dropped the 2L Milks and granola bars at the community fridge on the way home.

I got home yesterday and between the headache and the fact that none of us could connect to the System at the resort (we could get emails but getting on the system was impossible) yesterday was a catch up day and so it today. We have 2 people off so I have had to step in and help since they cover areas no everyone is trained in so it has been a little chaotic but we are making it work.

It was fun to be away with everyone and hang out but happy to be home and can get back into my routines.

    Happy Friday Everyone.

Oh dear my husband needs a second hip replacement so I shipped him off to the doc for a referral. I think it will be a couple of years though-which is just crazy. I think it would be pretty pricey if we opted to get it done in the US instead.

    Good Morning Everyone,
I was wide awake at 6 am this morning, so I took that as a sign to get up and get my day started.

This house needed a good reset, and I decided today was the day.

Well, I was having my tea (nothing happens before tea), I ran the dishwasher.

When I was done my tea I was going to clean the bathroom but Mom was in there so I decided to tidy the pantry first, there wasn't a lot, I am trying to do it weekly vs letting it build up.

Then off to bathroom, I gave her a good scrub and I was about to do the floor, I was so proud I thought I didn't get it wet but then I saw the drops.

So instead I came downstairs, emptied the drying rack, emptied the dishwasher and scrubbed down the counters, did a few hand dishes (found two containers in the container of things Mom had well I away but they did not make it back to the kitchen) and I scrubbed down the sinks.

Back up to the bathroom, I Swiffer the bathroom and stairs, and then Swiffer wet.

I got this done by 10 am which was my goal but I still need to do the kitchen floor both vacuum and mop.

I decided to take a break and make waffles, well they were cooking I vacuumed the hallway.

Now I just need to vacuum the kitchen floor and mop.

After that we will see where the day takes me. I am thinking of maybe running to Costco for Chicken Breasts but we will see.

    Happy Saturday Everyone.

    Good Saturday morning all.

I had my second shingles shot yesterday afternoon so today will be an easy-ish day. Should be fun vacuuming and changing the bed now that my arm is super sore . Oh well, at least I’m done with that vaccine.

I think I’m going to try to plan my garden layout. It’s not quite gardening weather here yet but I want to be prepared and I know it will sneak up fast. For now I’m just having my water after oatmeal while surfing the net and watching cartoons. YES I watch cartoons at my age (it helps keep me young )

Hope everyone has a great weekend

Found a slice of Costco pizza at the bus stop. "Free" was written on the box, so I ate it for lunch.
