Went for my walk at the lake this morning. Then stopped at No Frills on the way home and grabbed 1 package of the lean beef and 1 raspberry.
I see we have 3 packages of the beef in the fridge now so decisions will have to be made! (eat or freeze!)
I am in a walking mood...think I will have to go out again. I just can't get enough of this sunshine!

I am frustrated.
A rant sorry.
Why giving a rain check when you know the product will not be available and discounted from the shelve.
2 weeks ago, I could not make it to the first day of sale of the 454 g Ground Chicken Max 4 for $2,50 app offer.
Asked when I did go a raincheck
Yesterday I could not located the product.
I asked...the person said you should not have a raincheck the sale was to discounted the product.
Huh..???
Where I could get 1 lb of meat for $2,50 these days???
I really needed this deal.....

Around here (GTA), the regular price for frozen ground chicken is $10 for four 450 gm tubes at WM, NF, etc. Whether the quality is acceptable is an individual judgment. We use this to make cat food; we basically never eat ground chicken, either frozen or not, so I have very limited experience to assess how much they differ.

@coupongirl I have constant issues with Scene at Sobeys in NS. My personal offers never work. I have had better luck using the missing points option on the Scene app. Going via Sobeys never works. My location is set correctly because I change all the apps when I am here.
Only once did I have to really push for my points but agreed PCO is so much easier.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Happy Wednesday! Thinking about taking the afternoon off and taking a drive

Hoping gas is cheaper in that area because I need to fill up ASAP!
Need to get my niece's birthday bag put together. I have the perfume set I bought for her but will have to look in my storage bench and see what else I tucked away in there for her.
Off to review the new sale flyers! Hope to see some good deals!
Have a great day!

Jotted down my list for Saturday's shopping. Hoping to get more butter, Metro does have it for $4.99.
We sure went through some of the butter stock fast as I was using it in various recipes, so not just to spread on sandwiches.
I still sit on my hands every Thursday when the sales start knowing I must wait for DH to drive me there on the weekend.
Happy Hump Day everyone!

I was able to take advantage off the egg offer at SDM and spent 30.00 so I could redeem my free butter. This is a rare occurrence for me but I found my preferred hair product on a super sale so it was a perfect time, I also had a 25.00 gift card that I had been carrying for months so it was especially nice.

Boy, SC has been super glitchy for a few days for me.
Nothing new on the frugal side. Just no spending so guess that’s frugal.
We had a weekday dinner at my brothers on Tuesday and we surprised my dad with my cousin visiting. I haven’t seen her since I was probably 9 or 10 years old and neither had he. She is the daughter of his brother whose he lost at the age of 67 (about 20 years ago). Seriously the way his face lit up when she came in and it registered who it was was lovely and then she hugged him and said “hi uncle John” it clicked for him and he looked so happy.

Off to work now. Another day another dollar.

Good Morning! The sun is trying hard to come out but I think the rain clouds are going to win.
Regardless- I will get a walk in even if it means walking every aisle at RCSS
Enjoyed my afternoon off yesterday and was back home by 5pm. Had a late lunch out so was a snacky dinner followed by my frozen Greek yogurt treat.
I should have chicken for dinner so will take the frozen cooked breast out of the freezer for myself (will make a sweet potato and veggies to go with it)
The ground beef I will make into burger patties and then put the extra ones in the freezer. The nice thing is the way they are packaged makes it easy to defrost quickly in water
Just finished my coffee- and all my work emails. I should put away the clean laundry and then toss on some grubby clothes and go outside and pull some weeds!
Have a wonderful day!
