Nice Freebie Friday offers @cath007 . I don't think I've seen that offer to load at our Moi site.

Good Evening Everyone,
Got a lot done today which was very much needed. Am I caught up at work H*LL NO, but do I feel like I at least half know what is going on now, yes.
But around lunch time I did need to step away, I was getting tons done but my brain was hurting, it has been a long week. So I ran to No Frills and Food Basics.
At No Frills, I just grabbed 4 x Mushroom and 1 x Cherries, both were on sale.
At Food Basics I grabbed 4 x Mini Cucumbers, 1 x 3lbs Red Onions, 4 x Fries, 2 x Perogies, 1 x Rye Bread and 1 x 4 pack of Thin Pizza Crust. Everything was on sales except the Rye Bread, this is a different one from the one I normally buy but it was $2.99 and we have lunch meat to use up.
I have been craving pepperoni pizza so before I end up ordering one I will use the Thin Crust to make one and freeze the rest.
The red onions, I love them but I rarely buy them because of the price but this bag is all nice little onions that will be perfect to add to salads.
Well I made dinner I cleaned the kitchen it really needed it, I have been doing the bare minimum all week as I think I have gone to bed around 8 all week, I have been completely exhausted by the time I get home.
Dinner was Chicken Mushroom Skillet, it came to mind, it is one pan, it has Chicken, Orzo, Mushrooms and I add peas so perfect for tonight to keep it simple.
Dishwasher is running and pretty sure once it is done it will be bed time for me.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Walked across a parking lot and found a dropped bag of Tim Hortons with 2x apple fritters. The birds had dragged one out and were pecking away at it. The other seemed untouched, so I ate it for lunch.
My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

Good Morning Everyone,
Trying to get all the things done but let's be honest, we have reached the point where my house overwhelms me and I just want to shut down LOL.
With that being said, I have scrubbed down the bathroom except for the floors, need to head back up and get those done.
I tidied up the pantry, mainly because I had Potatoes and Onions that needed to be boxes up for storage, also, I needed my grocery bags back.
I did clean the kitchen last night but did not scrub down the counters so that was done this morning and the dishwasher emptied.
Now, I am having some breakfast and then I am going to head into the kitchen and get some cooking stuff done. I need to figure out a dessert for tomorrow as well I need to plan for the week to come as it will be another busy one.
Let's see what I can get done because I also have to log into work and test some programming that was uploaded after we closed last night.
Happy Saturday everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

There is something to be said for sticking to recipes you know.
Originally when we were discussing Father's Day we were in a heat wave so I choose a frozen dessert. It has taken me most of the afternoon to get it made. The filing was easy put in the freezer but dipping them in chocolate was difficult. The first batch of chocolate seized on me and then they kept melting well I was dipping them. It took way longer than it should but there are done.
I also made some Chocolate Rice Krispies things with Chocolate and Peanut Butter.
I probably could have gotten more done but I started overthinking about the fact that both dessert have Chocolate and Peanut Butter which wasn't the plan. I was going to do one Chocolate Peanut and one Strawberry but Giant Tiger didn't get their strawberries and I thought about just grabbing a pack at No Frills but they were $4.99 and didn't look like they would make it to the weekend. I was going to check at Costco but I didn't make it this week. So two chocolate peanut butter it is.
Dinner was Steak, Roasted Potatoes, Roasted Asparagus, and Sauteed Mushrooms and Onions. The original plan was Homemade Ricotta Gnocchi in a creamy mushroom sauce but the ambition was not there and the dessert was still not done so we switched out for roasted potatoes and sauteed mushrooms and onions. Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow.
Going to try to get an hour of work in before bed, there is some testing to be done.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Good Morning Everyone,
Trying to get back into the swing of things a bit because the last few weekends have not been my best (cannot wait for this project to be done and life can become somewhat normal again, although what is normal LOL).
Started my morning with laundry, towels are in the dryer and there did not seem to be as much laundry this go round, think I am doing it sooner this time so I just dumped all the clothes in the washer together. Just waiting for the last load to finish so I can hang what needs to be hung and put the rest in the dryer.
Knew I was not going to get a full on prep done today which is fine but I had some bananas that we either needed to bake with or throw out (yes, I know you can freeze them but the last thing I need right now is something else to get lost in my freezer) so I made a batch of banana muffins. Since I had the oven on I also cooked a batch of rice I will pop in the fridge to turn into Fried Rice or use for bowls or under a Stir Fry this week.
I have packaged up the treats for Dad, I wanted some leftovers for us and I achieved that we have a tub of each treat.
Also dug through our upstairs freezer because I know I bought Ginger (we always freeze our Ginger and grate if directly from frozen) and we have been flying through ginger, found it. I also noticed the business center has a good price for Ginger so think I will buy it there going forward as the last couple of times it has been on sale locally it has been a bit disappointing, I was going to check the Asian Market but if I can get it at the Business Center even better and since we freeze it anyways.
Think it is time for another cup of tea, need to email my boss (testing went great last night and only took 15 minutes), finish laundry and then we will see where the rest of this day takes me.
Happy Sunday Everyone and Happy Father's Day to the Dad's out there.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Happy Father's Day to who still have theirs with them. Huge hugs are a must while they're still around to try and wriggle out of! ha ha
@SassyAshley seems to me you get PLENTY done every day, and making up a quickie batch of yummy banana muffins was frugal.
Trust me when I confess that at one time I must have had 5 different small Ziploc bags with peeled overripe bananas in my freezer.
I hated to throw them away but when I eventually baked with them, it was loaves not muffins that got made.
Nice and calm, peaceful here, guys are sleeping. No eating for me today as we'll be doing the Asian Dragon Buffet later tonight, DS's treat
for his Dad on Father's Day. I have to go on an empty tummy to make it enjoyable.

Hi All!
Yesterday I was up and showered and left the house at 5:45 am! Headed for a drive and got cheaper gas then home then headed to my sister's and hung out there all day.
My mom is going to visit a friend in the city in July for a week so my sister asked if I wanted to go for the night at Woodbine. So we booked our room for that night (We love the Chicken Souvlaki salad at the restaurant so we don't even have to discuss the dinner plan!!) We will drop our mother off at her friend's place in the morning and then head for our "sister girls night away".
We finalized our 2 road trips we are taking this summer with my niece (have our exact plan and booked hotel rooms for the first one in July)
Today- Made coffee and went down to the town dock for a walk. Walked to the Farmer's Market ($0 spent- Looking forward to August when more veggies available) Lots of sweet treats and bread which I don't need! There was another group of vendors set up across the street so took a quick walk there too.
Then up the main street to the top and back down before going into No Frills where I spent $12.70 on a 4lb bag of really nice apples! tzatziki (this makes boring chicken a little less boring!) cherries, 5 pk avocados and a couple bananas. This will set me up for my meal plan for the week.
Then at another No Frills I bought celery ($2.99) to go with the .44C cucumber (GT) and hummus I bought a few weeks ago.
Dinner tonight- Chicken/asparagus/mushrooms/Sweet potato/baby potatoes.

Happy fathers day to all the dads.
Walkonby have a good time at the buffet, enjoy.
Frugalbigmama enjoy your road trips.
Hubby coated the front porch landing with cement ,it is so hard to do any improvements with our neighbour next door home.He always has to say something .
I may go out later and shop at la vie on rose (as i just threw a pair of pjs out ripped around the waist ,i hung on to them as long as i could ,know thats frugal.
