Happy Monday! The weekend flew by. 0 house work got done.
Leftover chicken breasts for dinner tonight. Will have it with sweet potato and veggie- Really missing green beans. I need a sale! But for the time will use what we have- so probably canned beans since they are paid for and we have lots.
Tomorrow I will cook up ground turkey and black beans to to make taco bowls of some sort. I would like to freeze a meal or 2 of this for a future meal.
I can't believe it will be July 1st next week! Need to book more vacation days off! The nice thing is I can take a few afternoons off to really stretch the days but I get so much vacation that I am usually using up so many days in December when the weather is crappy and am stuck at home!
Not sure I mentioned but we have baby birds in the nest on our porch light. They are very quiet. I put out water in the window sill that I keep clean so hoping mama is using it.
Ok now to get this work day out of the way so I can get out and enjoy the sunshine! Will get out for a walk probably this morning before the heat of the day. Yesterday I did really well getting my steps in even though I was tired. Hope to continue today!

According to my census boss we have managed to close more than half of our cases so our team is doing well. So far only one lady has been rude to me. DD and fiance are coming for a flying visit this weekend to pick up the pooch. Currently they are in Ontario and she has been busy trying on wedding dresses. Still no venue or date yet but clearly she is on dress detail.
I am planning to head to Churchill later in July with friends-assuming DH recovers well from his hip replacement on July 16-poor guy is really hobbling.

Good Morning! Looks like another beautiful day! Going to the beach later today and then out for dinner at the place at the beach

Went to sleep at 9pm last night! Couldn't keep my eyes opened so just gave in. Slept straight though till after 6am so I guess I needed a good 9+ hours!
I will wait till tomorrow morning to put a load of laundry in the wash and hang to dry (that way I can wash beachwear from tonight) I am sure I will try to go in but it may be chilly!
Need to pop out and get tennis balls- will check the deals at Sportchek then go to Canadian Tire since they had a good brand on clearance. Then I should go to the bank and deposit all my expense cheques from work from the past 6 months (I collect them) and get a few steps in walking to the town dock since I am in the area.
We want to paint our front doors/window trim but are waiting till the bird nest is empty...Good excuse to wait? lol We already have the new paint and supplies ready so just need to get at it.
Enjoying coffee and then getting this day going

Good morning all.
It's a fantastic start to the day for me. While it’s another hot day
good things are happening.
#1) my mattress is finally getting delivered this morning
#2) which is a the #1 thing is I had my urologist appointment today to discuss my CT scan. The previous test (ultrasound) showed an 8mm stone and a few 4-5 stones in the other kidney
. Well the CT which is the one they do just before surgery to get a 100% accurate reading came back CLEAR! NOTHING, ZIP, ZILCH,ZERO. Both side are clean
. She also checked for any scarring and how the healing was from the last surgery since it was a very delicate procedure with the size and it’s perfect. All my bloodwork came back perfect so she doesn’t need to see me anymore (unless something happens in the future). I was told to just keep doing what I’m doing. What a relief.
I've been worried about another surgery, another 4/5 weeks off work, loss of $$$$ , caring for my parents while recovering but thankfully I don’t have to anymore.
I can’t wait for my mattress to arrive so I can have a nap. I’m exhausted

@coupon girl YOU are one brave lady!! I just don't have it in me to go back for the other knee.
You'll be tough to catch in the grocery stores after you recover from the 2nd knee is replacement.
