i emailed mars canada confectionary products saying how much i love their chocolate bars and asking if they could send me some coupons and i got a fpc for 2 regular size chocolate bars.

i sent a email to scrubbin bubbles ..telling them how much i like their product ..they sent me a $6.oo coupon ..
i sent glade a email last year saying ..i love their scented candles and holder ..they sent me a coupon ..for another one . thats all the companies i tried ...so far ..

Did you email to them and said you love their products, then go ahead and ask for coupons? - just in 2 sentences?

I usually gave specific anecdotes, like my son loves them and asks for their product almost daily... a few sentences of compliments usually works. Then ask if they have any coupons to send your way so you can purchase more of their products or try new ones.

FPC's seem to be hit and miss... some people have lucked out and I haven't/vice versa.

I'm new at this but I sent compliment emails to a bunch of companies last week. Basically telling them how much my family and I love their product, that I trust in their brand and are loyal to it, very satisfied customer. Just wondering if you happen to have any coupons and if so I would really appreciate some. If not thanks anyways.
I've heard back from 3 so far and waiting for replies from the others. Only one of the 3 said they would send me the coupons. The other two just said that they have promotions all the time and I should just keep an eye out for them.

I should email Aveeno, I bought two of their face lotions a couple of months ago, for like $20 each and they were crap.

I don't bother because hundreds of people do it every day and they know you are just trying to get stuff. I prefer to just wait and check on this site for freebies hehe
