Good morning everyone!! Hope it was a good weekend for everyone.
Won't be around much today, as it's going to be gorgeous here!! Going to go for a walk with Tyler and then when he's napping this afternoon, I need to get into my gardens to clean them out ... tulips and daffodils and hostas are already poking up!!!
So, I phoned the insurance company on Friday at about 1pm, found out we're covered for the water damage in the basement. Well, by 4:30pm Friday, the guys were here gutting the basement and setting up hydro-sucking fans, dehumidifiers, and heaters. We've gone through about a month's worth of hydro in two and a half days. We're documenting everything that's happening, and going to ask that hydro pay the difference on the hydro bill. Otherwise, it's going to be a $300 bill one month.
So, hopefully they come back today cause I'm sick of hearing all those fans and stuff all day long. The only water left in the house is underneath the washer and dryer where there is a divet in the floor. Gonna have to mention that to the guys.
Anyways, hope it's a great day wherever you are and I hope that all who are sick or hurting feel better soon.SwagBucks.com - the premiere digital dollar. Earn SwagBucks to redeem for great prizes. Amazon.ca are available here!

That's the plan, NS. We didn't have an adjuster or anything come ... no one from the insurance company - just the restoration company they contract out in this area. The owner of the company (who happens to be one of our friends) is even going to go through the contents to determine how much damage there was once everything is dry. We're going to push really hard for new mattresses. I don't care how dry you can get them, I think, but once they get water damage, they stink. There's no getting that stink out. But, that's just my opinion.

BG: they should have to replace the matress. once they get wet like that it harbours mold, or is it mildew? one of em. so definitely fight for that.
haunish: tg it was only a baby tooth. ryan had to have a spacer put in, those things are expensive!!! luckily msi covered ours cause blair wasn't working at the time.
and i think ppl are just getting married for the gifts...
regift the iron!!!

OMG I just found out the school I am sending Yacoub to next year is not having two JK classes. He is #57 on the list for the class so I don't know if he will get in as 28 kids are in a class (there is a TA also in the class). It is a high tuition so my friends are telling me alot of people will drop out of the class and he will get in, but I am stressed and to top it off it is March Break so I cannot call the office and see where he stands. A whole week of wondering if going to drive me insane.
Some of my friends kids got in and they were number 80 something...but still til I have the forms in my hand and paid the tuition I will be worried....geez I didnt need this

On another note, I traded some coupons with some folks (first time I'd done this), but I have no clue how to give them a good rating. What do I do? Help!
I guess I really should explore the SC site, I just never seem to have enough time. Sheesh, I seemed to have more time when I had a full time job. Course I also had more energy & no dependents.
Seems the brats got into the Irish spirit last night & are now tired. Don't know how we'll have the energy to celebrate St Paddy's Day tomorrow.

First off, welcome to the insanity. We're a happy little family here that occasionally remembers to talk about PnP.
I've received a dvd (Fall of Roman Empire, collector's ed) & a book (Baby Names), with an exercise dvd & another book on the way. Oh, & the best reward was a pink angora dog sweater. Of course, I didn't read the fine print (who knew size 6 meant 6lbs), so it's now a cat sweater. The good part of living in downtown Toronto is that boys can get away with wearing pink.

Also, if you haven't already, sign up for Swagbucks - lots of folks here are looking for referrals & are happy to help you if you get confused (my usual state ). You can get all sorts of things, although the most popular seems to be the $5 Amazon gift cards.
Mead.com also has a program where you can get $5 Amazon gift cards. Again, just ask away & there's always someone here happy to answer all your questions.
Hope this helps. & feel free to ask here about anything. There are medical experts, chefs, crafters, I seem to have become the resident cat training expert . Oh, & don`t worry, we don`t bite. Well, some may threaten to, but they`re harmless.
