We'll be having leftovers. Hamburgers, curried couscous and whatever may be left from lunch today.

Friday nights dinner was bucatini pasta in a homemade tomato sauce with spicy Italian sausage and fresh homegrown basil with a salad using my own homegrown lettuce and local tomatoes.
This was before my accident while I tried to climb the ladder to the roof so thankfully there was leftovers for Saturday since I'm not able to walk very well. Thankfully I'll be ok and it could have been a lot worse!
Not sure about tonight since DH and I are looking after our 4 year old nephew, maybe pizza delivery.

Last night's bbq was fun, but I ended up with food poisoning from the macaroni and potato salads. So I've spent most of the day trying to recover. There were lots of hotdogs, chips, alcohol (not for me), and pop. It was funny that there were no veggies or fruit.
For supper tonight we got 2 large Domino's pizza, cheese bread, and a large bottle of coke for $24. I'm having pizza for lunch at work tomorrow.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

pork adobo with potato and broiled red pepper, the pork was excellent...... depends on the cut and lots of marbling makes all the difference.

...have to admit the pull pork made with root beer was good!!! Probably not something I would use on a regular basis, I was just curious to see how it would taste....the pork was really tender and moist....and it didn't taste like root beer at all....
I filled the bottom of the slow cooker with 2 large chopped onions, put the roast on top of the onions, added spices and then poured in the root beer..at around the 6 hr mark (which was midnight...lol) the roast was already falling apart, so I took it out removed the bone and all the fat, etc and then shredded the meat, removed all the onion, poured off more than 1/2 the liquid, put the shredded meat back in the slow cooker and then added Diana chicken & rib bbq sauce and mixed it all together and let it simmer for another 90 mins ....
this evening I cut large, square ciabatta buns in 1/2, hollowed out some of the bread, buttered the bottom portion, added lots of the cold shredded pork, slices of marble cheese, put mayo on the top part of the bun, then wrapped the buns in tinfoil and baked in the oven at 350 for about 1/2 hr...they were so good, the bun was crispy on the outside and soft inside and the cheese was all melted and gooey!!

I've been sick with a bad tummy bug since midnight - during the day just had a few soda crackers.
Had a nap and hopefully slept it off because I woke up so hungry, no gut ache - so I chanced having a roast chicken sandwich at eight.

I stopped at the Superstore to get a couple things and they had Olymel pulled pork on sale for $4.49, plus it had a pink 30% off sticker plus I had a $1 off coupon (making my cost $2.14), so it will be pulled pork for supper tonight. Not as good as home made but it will do

I had posted supper plans in the lunch thread, so I've changed places...
Supper is chicken casserole - cut-up leftover chicken (some boiled from soup, some roasted breast), green beans, peas, carrots, corn; sauteed onions, celery and cauliflower; in a mushroom gravy. Served over baked rice, with coleslaw.
Leftover chicken noodle soup to start for the guys.
