Pizza and beer, Wife is going out with friends.

picked up some groceries at Nofrills earlier today, so for dinner we're going to make sausage and peppers. Green bell peppers, sub buns at 50% off, johnsonville original bratwursts and onion which we already have at home. We're running out of ideas for dinners.

I had a boring dinner...I baked a chicken and had with it mashed potato & rutabaga with sour cream, carrots, corn , gravy...good..but boring!! ( 4 small pots & a roaster!! plus all the other dishes!! lol)...but there is a piece of vanilla cake with chocolate icing in the fridge for later ...

Skinny orange chicken and veggie lo mein for tonight. I have searched every store in my city and no one sells Oyster Sauce.

Tonight I am giving the fridge a deep clean so dinner will be leftovers! May also make some perogies to go with the leftovers

BBQ steak, mushrooms, potatoes and Ceaser Salad. I am home today so can prepare the sides and there is a chinook wind bringing warmer temps so DH can grill on the back deck.

Last night I cooked chunks of pork loin with onion, canned pineapple, unsweetened apple sauce with a little smokey BBQ sauce and served it all with leftover mashed potatoes from my garden. Don't forget the glass of milk.

Tonight's supper is nachos with marble cheese melted on top with a meat and veggie blend that I fry up on the side. We haven't had this in a very long time because lean ground beef is so expensive right now.

edit: I had supper nearly made when I discovered that the bag of sealed corn chips was past its best before date and smelled stale. So I did a couple of adjustments to the meat sauce to turn it into a chili and cooked up some minute rice that my neighbour had given to me.
