What's For Dinner?

Chicken Cacciatore, rice, buns and salad.

All alone for dinner tonight so decided to make a Mashed Potato Bake to use up some leftovers in the fridge. With this I will have sauteed mushrooms and onions. I figure the bacon in my mashed potato bake is enough protein for me

Last night's supper was a roast chicken and French bread from Sobeys with a sliced tomato and glass of milk.

I fried up a pound of lean ground bison that my Dad gave us. I turned it into Hamburger Helper lasagna. Boiled broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots with a glass of milk and some fresh French bread (leftovers from last night).

Dear wife isn't feeling well so I'm going to order in Swiss Chalet, Maybe she will have some of their Chicken noodle soup.

Mac and cheese, honey glazed ham and green beans. Apple blossoms and vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Our son usually comes over Sundays for a big homecooked meal (and sometimes during the week as well), so I called him this aft and told him I wouldn't be able to cook tonight, and if we ordered out would he still come? He said he doesn't come for the food, just to see us! (Aw....)

So it will be Chinese food tonight.

added - oh my goodness, the restaurant must have thought we were vewy, vewy hungry, they were uber-generous with portions - usually we have enough for the three of us for two days, I'm pretty sure this will go a third!

deep fried chicken wings - they are huge and juicy, and they use some sort of magical seasoning on them

chicken chop suey - a little disappointing tonight, not in taste, but variety - usually there are many different veggies, today pretty much 95% broccoli (which is fine, just different)
chicken balls - come free with order
I also always order one combo - so we get extra shrimp, sweet and sour pork, veggie fried rice, and chow mein
