I made salmon tarator but as I was trying to use up food from my fridge ...I used coriander leaves instead of parsley, lime instead of lemon and pecans instead of walnuts..
It tasted really good. I doubt if the original would be much better. The brood argued over the last piece of fish but P2 won with her appeal for lunch tomorrow at school..
During the meal we debated the merits of lemon vs lime and coriander vs parsley..I could never have done that at my mother's house when I was 18 never mind 14 or 11..I love the way the brood enjoy trying new food. I reckon I have a 85% success rate with new recipes.
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

Tonight I sliced up a thick BBQ bison steak that was leftover from last night. I browned up a yellow onion added frozen green giant broccoli, the sliced steak and Kikoman teriyaki sauce. Served it with egg noodles and a glass of milk.
