Made DH a comfort meal. Mixed up a batter with eggs, cornstarch, baking powder and gingerale ( turned out very tempura-ish ) and deep fried pieces of Cod golden and crispy and then used up the remaining batter on a few onion rings. ( the sweet Vidalia onions!! Mmmm ) Found 2 wee packets of Malt Vinegar among the take out condiments, he loves that!
Imagine having no spuds in the house?! Must grab a bag this week.
