    ...got up early this morning and at the cabin until Tuesday..this evening BBQing steaks, and with it mushrooms, onions, peppers, caesar salad, sizzle bread.. Lots of mosquitos but thank goodness for bug spray & citronella..

    Burgers and fries (and onion rings for me) from a local restaurant.
    We discovered the best burger we always used to order jumped to like $14, so that's now a no-go - but the same burger (maybe just a smidge smaller) is on the senior/junior menu for less than 7 - so ordered one for me, two for husband. It comes with fries, but the bonus it comes with an ice cream treat as well - they make their own ice cream - what comes is a version of a dilly bar - so my son will get three of those to take home next time he comes.

    Their burgers are good, but the fries are FAB!

    Extra bonus - husband got them to throw in three cans of orange Fanta, what a sweetie!
    (Bummer, he forgot to order onion rings, but that's fine, I got full from the burger and fries.)

    Going to cook in the cottage while it stays a little cooler. Roast beef, mashed potatoes, carrots, Yorkshire pudding and lots of gravy. Blueberry pie and vanilla ice cream for dessert.

    Sunday- Pasta with a chicken/cheese broth sauce with grilled chicken, zucchini, peppers and tomato.

    Monday- Homemade burgers on the bbq with homemade pasta salad (used leftover cooked pasta from Sunday)

    Tuesday- Tacos (cooked the taco meat last night while my honey bbq'd the burgers )

    Wednesday- Toasted Westerns with potato puffs (will pull a ham from the freezer)

    Thursday- Leftover night- tacos, westerns etc (going to visit a friend with DS so need to eat quick)

    Friday- May treat my boys to whatever they like If it's nice may take DS and a friend to the beach for the evening
