freezer diving and I pulled out 2 pie crusts I forgot I had done up!! ( no wonder I could not find my large ceramic pie plates! )
Diced up the leftover prime rib meat, gravy, last few roasted spuds,carrots and added some sauteed onion and celery and some extra froz. veg. Filled both pie crusts and topped with leftover mashed potatoes. Thye baked up nice and flaky on the edges. Mmmm
Also pulled out some of the cabbage rolls and a large bowl of chili! That freezer hunt made easy work for me last night.

I'm making crockpot split pea soup. All the ingredients are in the slow cooker now.

Since I've been out all day, & just got home, I had a quick bowl of cereal.

My mother is coming for dinner tonight and she has requested bbq hamburgers. I will probably run up to cosco and pick up one of their large tubs of red potato salad as well

I'm going to my son's for dinner. I think he's barbecuing salmon steaks. Yum.

..I didn't lose 10 lbs on my 10 day plan..lol..but I did lose 4 lbs ...I did cheat a little,,,hee hee

Friday went to friends and had fresh mussels, soooo good...yesterday bbq...and this evening cooked a beef roast and made hot roast beef

* I had a pile of potatoes that I wanted to use up so I looked up ideas online and came across one to cut up as fries, cook in oil for 5 mins, cool & freeze..I was skeptical but I spent the afternoon cutting potatoes and frying...and this evening I tried a few from the freezer and cooked in oil--they are EXCELLENT!! I have 2 big bags in the freezer ready to go!

YDD BBQ'ed Really slowly a roasted a prime rib roast with baked potatoes and a medley of grilled veggies with gravy. It took her a long time but it was absolutely delicious. Black Forest cake for dessert. Great Mothers Day meal.
