I had a bowl of Resse Puff cereal with some nice cold milk and it was really good.
It's just too hot to cook.

Threw some steaks I found in the bottom of the freezer (date unknown) in the crockpot with some potatoes and mushrooms.
Definitely will be having ice cream for dessert. SO HOT!

My very sweet husband came home from work, and he was waiting for me to wake up - came to me very gently and said he was going to get KFC, was that okay, or would the smell or anything bother me. Aw, what a hon! I said go ahead, and later I actually was able to eat some. Ah, the lure of crunchiness cutting through pain!

So I have this amazing Chicken casserole recipe that I make and my family loves. Even use half of a store bought precooked BBQ chicken that I buy a few of, tear apart and freeze for these recipes. Tonight it was on the menu. Anyways, I serve supper and the fam is looking at me a little funny. Chocking it down with water. Finally my son pipes up and says Mummy this is really strong. Boyfriend agrees and said what with the Veggie meal?!?! WHAT..................I never put in the chicken!!! Now tell me, how does one forget to add the Chicken to Chicken Casserole!! We were all laughing so hard I was crying.

Last night we had Taquitos. These are one of the few vegan boxed foods that I buy because I love their spice combination. They truly are a treat though because they are 8.00 for a box of 6. I cut up some potaotes into wedges with seasoning, zucchini and a salad on the side.
I seem to be loosing motivation and need some inspiration to cook these last few days. I think it is because it is slim pickings in the cupboard for food. Maybe I need to revisit my cookbooks for inspiration
