that's my fave thing at swiss chalet always get salad and fries as my sides.

One of my goals for 2019 is to try more new recipes, I feel like we just keep eating the same thing over and over.

So tonight we are trying Creamy Tomato Spinach Pasta with Garlic Bread and Cesar Salad. This will use up some Spinach I kind of forgot we bought and the some Romaine that needs to be used up.

Today is Mom's Birthday so we are off to try the new Mexican place a few towns over. So far from what I have heard everyone says it is much better than the popular place on Main Street, guess we will find out tonight.

Today I'm making a large pan of deconstructed cabbage rolls a.k.a. cabbage hash, will freeze some to take to the cabin on the weekend

Tonight I will be using leftovers to make what I am calling Chicken Sheppard's Pie. I have Chicken in Mushroom Gravy leftover which I will use as the base and then top with Mashed Potatoes and make a side Salad to go with it.

Not sure yet if I will make a Cesar as we have some Romaine to use up or use the Spring Mix and make a Balsamic or Greek Salad, will see how I feel tonight.

Tonight I am making pasta with garlic alfredo, chicken, tomatoes, mushrooms. Making lots so there are leftovers for lunches tomorrow- Especially for my hockey player. Will heat his lunch up and have it piping hot when I meet him at the arena to take his hockey bag and send him back to school with yumminess

Tonight's plan is to make a Roasted Cauliflower Soup, I already have the Cauliflower Roasted in the Fridge, will add a Potato or two to thicken the soup and make using a Chicken Broth base. We are supposed to go Grocery shopping so I might grab some buns to go with it as I won't have time to make some after work and I am out of frozen homemade dough

..have a beef roast cooking in the oven, will probably make mashed potatoes and some other veggies (prob sweet potato, carrots & corn) & gravy of course

Tonight is a bit of mystery, originally I was supposed to be on my own for dinner so my plan was leftovers. But now Mom may or may not be home (not sure she may have to work late) so if she is home I have to come up with a plan for dinner.

The hard part is I will not know until probably about 4 or later if she will have to work late. Normally I would just come up with a plan for dinner and make it but since we have so many leftovers in the fridge and it is Thursday I really do not want to add more leftovers.
