i added curry and hot chili powders, pan fried chicken pieces in butter, coconut milk, crushed some methi (fenugreek) leaves into the leftover butternut squash soup - turned it into an Indian dish. It was surprisingly yummy. Bought a pack of naan breads from RCSS. I wanted to try the roti from RCSS but they were out.

@cath007 If I was going to make a butternut squash soup I would make this one https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/77...quash-soup-ii/. I would follow some of the recommendations in the review section i.e. I would bake the squash first (to enhance the nutty flavour) I would add garlic, a pinch of cayenne and nutmeg to the soup and at the end would probably add a dollop of sour cream or plain yogurt and stir it in. This week I made a roasted carrot and tomato soup and had lots leftover, so when it was completely cooled I portioned it freezer bags and put in the freezer. Plastic containers would be okay to use too if you're going to use in the near future.

I searched " what can I make with leftover sauerkraut " and turns out there is plenty!
I've decided to roast thick slices of 4 Marc Angelo Fennel sausages, add a few diced up new potatoes.
When they are soft, I'll mix in the sauerkraut, brown sugar, thyme and thin apple slices, and cook a bit more.
Just harvested some of DH bok choy out back so I may just toss that in at the very end.
It'll be a meal one way or the other.
