What's For Dinner?

Update: I went to the store on my lunch and grabbed a package of Spring Rolls and Dumplings, we will serve these with the Chicken Fried Rice.

I know I could have made dumplings myself cheaper, they were on sale for $3.97, but it is a work day and I do not have the time. Plus the way I see it for under $10 I got Spring Rolls and Dumplings which is way cheaper than ordering Chinese take-out.

our girls are having a sleep over at my parents and my hubby works evening shift so i'm on my own for dinner; went to the local oriental supermarket and got a 3 hot items for $7.99 that filled a large take out container the size of printing letter paper 8.5 x 11"
not sure if it's the same as other cities but all the bigger oriental supermarkets here have a cafeteria that serves ready to eat hot food that is much cheaper than food court at a mall

this is something quick and easy for my tonight.

Tonight will be French Onion Pasta Bake, feeling pasta but did not want a Tomato Sauce

Was watching TV and they showed a burger, it looked yummy so we have decided to have Homemade Burgers with Oven Fries Poutine.

Trying a new Recipe, Lemon Baked Chicken, on the side we will have Rice & Asparagus. I will also sauté some Onions, Mushrooms & Peppers that can be added to the rice for a little extra veggies.

We went to one of our fave plant based food trucks and had chickun wing and butter chickun poutine for a later lunch so dinner was a green smoothie after my 18k ride. Too full from lunch.

Yesterday our 9yr old son decided that he wanted to make egg and cheese wraps for supper. I helped him with that. We had sliced cucumber and fresh strawberries with it.

Tonight we will pulled a Homemade Meatloaf from the freezer and make Homemade Mac & Cheese. Veggie will be one of the open bags we have, thinking bean medley, it has green & yellow beans with baby carrots. I want this bag gone but it is from Costco, it is open but will take some time to finish off.

Easy dinner tonight..pasta and bolognese sauce (Catelli, love that stuff) and spinach caesar salad

freshly made ( this morning ) a half of a stuffed red pepper. ( filling is konjac noodles, x-lean gr. turkey, diced green & white onions, fresh basil and cilantro leaves ) Topped with Bocconcini and Light Swiss, cooked them surrounded in Passata.
Also having a bowl of butternut squash/sweet potato soup, a garden salad with minimal oil/vinegar dressing.
