Tonight I am going with a slow cooker meal and keeping it simple. I will be making Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Sesame Pork Loin. On the side we will be having Leftover Rice from the other night plus leftover Saute Onion, Mushrooms & Peppers.

good morning @SassyAshley that dinner sounds absolutely drool worthy!
Tonight I may attempt a recipe DD shared with me, but will only make a small batch ( maybe 2-3 servings ) just to see how it comes out.
I will replace the regular wheat pasta with either spaghetti squash OR konjac spaghetti ones.
Will go with a combo of Light Swiss and Bocconcini cheeses for the topping.

Tonight we feast on roast beef, roasted potatoes and green beans. The roast and potatoes are ready to pop in the oven. I'm going to cook the green beans in the air fryer right before dinner. Kitchen is clean. We can eat and put our dishes in the dishwasher. Easy dinner!

I got a pork picnic shoulder last week at rcss $1.79/lb with personal offer 200 points/$1 spent.
Deboned the pork. Made pork broth. Broth will be used for noodle soup. Small pieces of pork were sliced and will go into shanghai noodles. Bigger slices of pork are marinating and will be BBQ (asian flavour) to go with steamed rice. Largest pieces of pork with the skin will be baked to become crispy skin pork for sandwiches or topping noodle soups.

Tuesday we had chicken fingers, M&C, sliced oranges, and fresh strawberries.

Last night we had I made home made fried rice with chicken vegetable stir fry.

Tonight is home made burgers (pre-made and frozen in advance), carrot sticks, celery sticks…still deciding on the carb.

Went into the city to use up our GC before the passports end so I had the Lovely bowl ( Our original almond satay sauce, shredded carrots, marinated organic tofu, steamed organic kale, broccoli, roasted red pepper & toasted coconut bacon, over organic brown rice)

Dh had the steak and frites special (
a flaky pie shell and load it up with mushrooms, peppers, seared steak curls, and a rich, delectable Irish “cream” gravy. This is all topped with golden brown, waffle-cut “frites” and a tangy horseradish mayo! Paired with beautiful salad filled with mixed greens tossed in a citrus vinaigrette with our house-made feta, crisp apples, mandarin orange slices, and pumpkin seeds)

and we shared satay sauce and spicy mayo fries

Dinner tonight will be eaten in front of the TV. Blue Jays Opener!! First pitch @ 7:07 p.m.
A stuffed red pepper, 2 cups garden salad with Zesty Italian dressing. Dessert 2 x 5 calorie Jello with 3 Tblsp whipped cream.
Then I still have a delicious late night snack that I'll probably have just before 10 p.m.

Last night I ended up roasting broccoli, sweet potato, acorn squash, onions with a Cajun spice blend and similar spiced seared tofu over the leftover rice I had. I served it with a dollop of my fave creamy Caesar dressing that I got for free from Spent Grounds( the local coffee roaster shop). It was close to its best before date so she gave it to me free. Yum! Seriously there’s a reason it’s affectionately know as ‘crack in a jar’. It’s that’s good and addictive.
