Last night I made pork chops in the crockpot with BBQ sauce, a potato dish a coworker gave me and some seamed cabbage.

Tonight is chicken in the crockpot, mashed potatoes and steamed cabbage. I seem to have a potato and cabbage theme going here.

Believe it or not DH pushed me to buy another Butterball turkey at NF because he said he didn't get enough turkey at Christmas??!!
We found the smallest one there ( $35.00 ) I think is was 4.5 kg. For just us 3 here that is almost too much bird this soon.
We'll eat the original meal with sides this weekend, the guys can drag some of those meals into work. Leftover wise, I suppose hot
open faced sandwiches or cold ones can work. I'm freezing the carcass though, soup won't happen till maybe early February.

The meal was cooked and served at 3 a.m. Saturday. ( by MOI! ) All alone in the kitchen and it took some doing not to succumb to taking a nap while the guys
were at work. The spread was presented as if these guys were special guests! ha ha , I've promised to never ever do it all again by myself.

We had a late lunch and weren't very hungry at Dinner so Breakfast for Dinner, I made a Blueberry Dutch Baby.

This morning I did up 7 hard boiled eggs in my nifty egg cooker. These are just grab and go snacks the guys like to have around.
However....a short time later while watching a scene in a tv series one character was eating some very crunchy fried chicken.
So I stopped the dang show and brought out the sale chx leg quarters from the freezer. UGH, used to be that I was influenced by
tv ads for food, now apparently even the food IN the tv shows triggers me??. My air fryer will par cook them and then I'll flour/egg
dip and crumb them to fry. Hopeless, I'm hopeless....ha ha

@walkonby , I have those days where everything I see on TV changes what I want for dinner which can be really bad if you have Food Network (or is it Flavour Network now, I think I have both) in the background. Every 30 seconds I am changing what I want for dinner that night.
