What's For Dinner?

hubby is going to order pizzas for supper; i finished the large salad mix by myself the last few days and only have tomatoes and napa cabbage, not sure what i can make with them. It's too cold here; we are under extreme cold warning.

This week ahead my guys are the chef's. ( a week off work )
Monday DH is making his " famous " Chicken Parmesan, we'll be opening a lovely Henry of Pelham red with that.
( even though white should be served ).
Tuesday DS is making a peppered steak thing. ( he's being quite secretive about the recipe ) but from what I've been able to draw out of him it involves red wine, a reduction and a sauce. Roasted veggies as sides ( cauliflower, butternut squash and carrots ).
I am predicting a very good week!

The Super Bowl is finally here!!! Its going to be a great day!!! Snacks and drinks are all ready to go !! Pork is in the slow cooker for pulled pork later, coleslaw is made! Wings and appys for the air fryer! Go Chiefs Go!!! Have a great day everyone!

Last night i made i guess you can call it a sweet and sour pork thingy with veggies in the Crock Pot in a Chicken & Rib BBQ sauce and served that over rice. I had some pork chops that i had to use to i put that in theCrock Pot and then i sliced some onions, mushrooms, carrots, celery, onions, and i used the stems of the broccoli (just peel the stems). Very very tastey.

Tonight is an easy night, hubby is ordering Pizza. Im not a football fan nor a pizza fan, but i wont have to cook, to thats ok.

Change in plans last night as I did not realize how long we were on Milk and did not take out another bag. Now tonight will be Homemade Meatloaf with Homemade Mac & Cheese and a Veggie TBD (Thinking I might just make a Salad)

Last night Mom had BBQ Chicken Wings, I had BBQ Chicken Cesar Wraps and we both had Oven Fries.

It wasn't the best Super Bowl but the best part about it is there's leftovers for today!!! The pulled pork turned out really good, gobs of meat piled on brioche buns, melted cheese under the broiler and topped with creamy coleslaw, will have the same thing today with fries

Since its garbage pick-up tomorrow morning, today we will be having all sorts of leftovers because i dont want to throw anything out!
