@crafter that brings back fond memories of the 2 bacon wrapped lasagna loaves I made.
I wasn't crazy about it because of the richness but everyone else thought it was great!

Tonight for dinner I'm having a 2 cup serving of the pureed " kitchen sink " soup I made the other day,
along with 1 scrambled egg and some cooked carrots. Then halfway through the game I'll have my snack,
Balderson's extra old white cheddar, apple slices and Dark roast Peanut Butter.

oh wow! Bacon wrapped lasagna would be decadent lol. Very cool snack...we've never tried dark roasted peanut butter. "the gourmet snack of Jay's games". . Wasn't that an incredible game!! Can't wait for Friday!

DH will be making MORE Shake 'n Bake later tonight, this time it's boneless pork loin chops! ( cut from a long roast ).
Not sure what sides he's planning but there's a number of sweet potatoes, delicata squashes, 1 huge butternut
plus fresh veggies in the fridge.
I have one large skl/bnl chx breast reserved for myself that will do me for 3 meals. We're both kind of wiped now.
Duct Cleaning Service was here before 9 a.m. finished by 11:30. My scaredy cat Hamlet vanished to who knows where
as soon as the noise started. He still has not shown his face....ha ha

Today's work meal for the guys is Chicken/mushroom Stroganoff over a bed of translucent Vermicelli noodles ( made yesterday ),
so now I've got a beef steak meat pie in the oven. I did " cheat " filling 1 Tender flake shell and topping with the other one.
They always turn out so lovely, and easier on me!

Made up 2 meals in the fridge for guys to heat and eat when wanted. Chicken drumsticks, corn and rice. They can add a ceasar salad if wanted.

I'll preface this post with a link:
    https://forum.smartcanucks.ca/419683...3/#post7261073
I've repeated the " have everything ready " plan that I tried yesterday.

Today I ate my breakfast as I prepped the other 2 meals.
There a few things made to split between lunch and dinner.
Another chickpea/black beans cold salad, Basa steaks ( they are seasoned and marinating atm ) will Air Fryer them later.
Mixture of chopped up veggies to steam ( savoy cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli ) , 3 huge shrimp ( a cold cocktail appetizer ).
A large portion of Konjac penne , added air fryer mushrooms & topped with DH leftover meat sauce. Will grate some Parmesan
    over.
Again, it's always a gamble to see if I have a small or large appetite going when lunch and dinner times arrive??

funny thing happened yesterday when I attempted to make a double batch of these!

    https://www.canadianliving.com/food/...liflower-cakes

They looked so good to me, despite the instructions having me fry them in a pan with some oil.
Well......the first 5 of them I set into the pan cooked lovely and crisp on side one BUT as soon as
I lifted each of them to flip over they fell apart!
Never one to waste food, I simply cooked it up as one large mixture. The flavour was delicious.

For the remaining mixture I oiled the cast iron pan well, dumped the mixture in and cooked it in
the oven. After one side browned, I was able to flip the whole thing over to brown side two.

Then today I mixed half of that concoction from the pan into DH's leftover meat sauce, tossed in
Liviva rice shaped pasta, added more herbs and spices to it and made both stuffed green peppers
and cabbage rolls. There is always a way! ha ha

my dinner was eaten at breakfast his morning...lol. Had some leftover raw riced cauliflower which got sauteed along with all small
diced veg....green onions, red pepper, mushrooms and tomato. Diced up 3 cooked jumbo shrimp as well, then splashed a dew drops
of sesame oil in and voila....a shrimp stir fry. Had o brew a creamy coffee with that too.
