Last night we grilled burgers and made a cauliflower salad. We are busy going from our volunteer gig to a meeting to a concert in the park, so it’s going to be a food truck night😎

pressure cooked up 4 different discounted pkgs of meat I had in the freezer, One large T-bone, 2 blade steaks and some lamb chops.
Once everything was tender I added the spuds, baby carrots, celery, onions and gravy. The last things I tossed in once the heat was off was broccoli and a handful of green beans and snow peas from the garden.
    Stew for the weekend!

Spaghetti and sauce - tried the Catelli garden selects six veg, garlic and onion. At first taste there seemed to be a different herby taste, but when having more it was really good.

DD had the day off work so we made cabbage rolls together!! I was so happy to get a giant head of savoy cabbage at .57 lb today at NF. Our " sauce " was made by tossing tomato juice in a blender with tomato paste and adding herbs.
The cabbage yielded 24 large leaves for rolling and we chopped up the smaller centre part for a wee pan of lazy cabbage ingredients.
They smelled so yummy cooking in the oven.

I prepped and son was over to do the actual stove cooking.
It was basically a ground pork casserole with onions, mushrooms, carrots and pasta. Sauce was leftover catelli sauce mixed with leftover gravy, and it was really good. Served with pickled beets and a big Caesar salad.

I love saturdays! After bridge this morning, we had a couple hours to ourselves..made the most of that. Our son came over and we went to a car show downtown and then to a pub nearby for dinner. Best outline ever!
