Tonight we had borscht - then KD (two boxes), beans, and baked kolbassa.
----
Saturday was our Ukrainian Seniors' Home Christmas Yarmarok (like a bazaar), and I couldn't go, so sent my husband with a list.
My list: a kolach (specialty bread for Christmas), wheat (to make kutia, a Christmas dish), any baking which looked good, and a tree ornament.
BUT he came home with a big container of borscht (which we had today), three rings of our favourite sausage (the nuns import it from Mundare AB), three big packages of homemade noodles, a huge bag of perogies - either 3 or 4 dozen, and a big poppyseed roll.
Hm..... I couldn't 'complain', but it was kinda funny....

Tonight is our Christmas potluck at the school followed by the Christmas concert. I am making spinach and cheese cannelloni in tomato sauce (meat free) and sugar cookies. My 3 and 5 year old get to sing together this year! So excited, can't wait.
