Last night was homemade chicken pot pie for DH. I had a Beaver Buzz.
Tonight is smoked pork ribs, French fries and brown beans for DH. I will be having Beaver Buzz.

Tonight we are having homemade burgers with ceaser salad. I am pooped. Looking forward to this meal and vegging infront of the tv!

Last night we were supposed to have Chicken Stir fry over Rice to use up some of the veggies in our fridge. Mom decided she wanted a Chicken and a Beef Stir fry so we had Chicken with Carrots, Celery & Bok Choy and Beef with 2 types of mushrooms and we had rice.

Tonight I making a pork version of Sheppard's Pie, I cubed up some pork chops and made a Mushroom Gravy, I topped this with Mashed Potatoes. I forgot we are almost out of Milk and I forgot to stop and grab some yesterday and already had pots on the stove so I used a little sour cream and chicken stock in my potatoes. We will see how they go over.

Very fortunate to be treated to homemade turkey soup courtesy of my neighbour. She makes the most delicious soups. I am also happy to have some fresh buns to go with it.

Wolfie, I sure wish you would be able to have some real food....

Son was over fixing our computer, so he stayed for supper. Had leftover homemade chicken soup, and I made baked pork loin chops with a sauce which included onions, many cloves of garlic minced, lime juice, brown sugar, mustard, and tomato soup - served with roasted potatoes and carrots.

Gosh, it was good.

..this evening I made Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine..didn't skimp on the cream cheese either (I bought 5 different kinds at Foodland last week @ $2.49 ea for 25 AM whipped, spreadable and block) ...and made garlic bread in the oven to dip in the creamy alfredo sauce ..lots of mushrooms too!!

..anyone else excited about the Super Bowl tomorrow..I'm so pumped to watch Peyton and the Broncos win...so root for the Broncos as all positive energy might generate a win ..not sure what I'm making yet, although I did receive an email from EatinEatOut Magazine and they've listed 5 easy/great recipes Artichoke & Asiago Dip, Turkey Pretzel Nuggets (ick!), Canadian Bacon & Pineapple Pizza, Mini Pizza Calzones and Turkey Meatball Sliders...I'm leaning towards making the dip (although I don't have any asiago on hand) the bacon pizza and turkey meatball sliders.....so positive thinking everyone, Peyton must win, Peyton must win.........
