Left over Chinese and KFC! We had leftovers 2 nights in a row ....this will be the 3rd. But my excuse is my house is still in disarray from some flooding. Think I may pop into Dollarama and pick up paper plates too. Thanks for the idea from those with dishwashers down in another thread

Oh, I feel the same - husband eats reg liver and chicken livers, not me!
And your posting reminds me that I need to try our Seeds for change item.
Tonight, dear husband will pick up Chinese food on his way home. My appetite has been crap, so he's hoping this will entice me to have something other than soup, toast, and crackers.
I'm hoping, too!

I made Doro Wat.
Ok, wth is that, I know you're asking . . . It's an Ethiopian chicken dish. It's a very specific blend of spices . . around 13 and some of them need to be toasted. I made the spice blend last night and used in the Doro Wat tonight. Verrrrry yummy. I thought it was going to be wicked hot, but it wasn't!!
I loved trying it as it's so different from what we eat. It has a lot of middle eastern and african spices. This is link for spice.

I think next time I'll slow cook it in crockpot. . . maybe intensify spiciness? Who knows? . . .
