Pork roast in oven now, can smell wafts of that garlicky goodness! Whole potatoes are roasting with salt and dill, I'll cook up some peas and make a Caesar salad.

Most of us are now sick with a sinus cold. We are having a late supper. Maple Leaf stuffed chicken breasts are in the oven now, KD, boiled veggies, and a glass of milk. Banana bread for snack.

LOL, but aw.... how nice of you!
Can you tell me how to do corn on the cob on the BBQ? I've never tried it, and I'm a corn fiend.

Tonight for supper - pretty boring after last night's big meal - heated up ham garlic sausage, had with scrambled eggs and toast.

Seeing this (just meat) reminded me of when my son was leaving yesterday, packing up leftovers from supper.

In a big container, he piled up the leftover roast pork, the potatoes, and poured gravy over everything.
I just realized something, and said, "Oh, no, there's no vegetables, do you want me to make some quickly?" (We had had a big Caesar salad with the meal.)
He said "Mom, potatoes are man-vegetables."

LOL they say out of the mouths of babes, but he's 24!

^pady, I've seen that before on tv and it sounds SO good, but I need to be cheese-less.

Speaking of cheese, or rather not having cheese tonight will be Taco Tuesday because they are 1.29 at Taco Time. Haven't had them for ages, I love the crispy ones, husband will have soft.
First time I'll order them without cheese, I'm sure they will be fine.

I'm lactose intolerant but have til now been able to have small amounts of cheese as long as I use Lactaid tablets - well, over the years I've had to keep upping the dose so I'm now at three extra strength and the last time I had cheese it was like I hadn't had any of the enzyme at all (and it's very painful). So I'm now in avoidance of cheese (I can tolerate a cheese slice, a little bit of milk or real cheese in something cooked, but that's it). Ya know, I really DO miss stuff like pizza and lasangne - and some casseroles, etc.

    oops, maybe TMI?

Taco Tuesday!!! (Both kids love them and I cooked the beef last weekend so just had to pull it from freezer last night.
It will take me 5 mins to chop up lettuce/cheese etc. I was smart and bought the soft wraps last week at FB for .99 each pack since I knew this was the menu plan. Leftovers for the boys for the next few days which is great (especially for my late night hungry teen!)
