Oh, yummy pic above!
Had BBQ burgers (Schneider's Outlaws, they were good with added Guiness sauce).
We had ham and scolloped potatoes
Morning all, internet is faster in the use it morning here :) last time I tried to use it while camping, it took forever just to load a page. Todays dinner meal will be steak, potatoes and veggies grilled with garlic and rosemary, and corn on the cob roasted on the bbq.
im doing all my left-overs.
The fiancé is on cooking duty tonight - so who the heck knows what's going to appear on the table ;) I joke around but he does a great job of feeding us, just sometimes he's a little too inventive with the spices and doesn't know what sort of stuff goes together or the proper quantity. We've had some five alarm spaghetti sauce as a result :)
ha ha! frugal, forgive me but did you ever watch Malcolm in the Middle years ago?
The Mom ( Lois) would make " casseroles " for dinners over and over until her famous 7 layer casserole was served and the kids KNEW it consisted of leftovers from the last 6 days meals!

i did two vietnamese subs for $ 4.00
This week I am going to try to not shop except for fresh veggies and some fruit. I will be using stuff from my stockpile like rice, pasta, and from the freezer too.
Wish me luck with the weird concocktions I'm gonna come up with ;) lol
spaghetti and meatballs. yummmm :)
hubby is having a dif version. the meatballs are simmering in a tomato sauce with coriander, turmeric, ground ginger and sliced onion mixed in, in addition to the salt, pepper, garlic etc. when done, it will be finished with a sprinkling of ground garam masala (cumin, black pepper, black cardamom, cloves, cinnamon) and chopped cilantro fresh from the garden :)
the kids and i will be eating normal spaghetti and meatballs, his will be with roti (yuck... can i say that enough times, yuck)
last night i bbq'd some chicken breasts, had a caesar salad and some veggies n dip. tonight was turkey spaghetti, garden salad and garlic bread.
Chicken on the Q(beer can style-1st time & turned out awesome), baked potatoes, carrots & salad.
for dinner i had leftover chicken adobo with rice.
All this talk about leftovers make me think of a story my husband told me about his university boarding room days. The landlady would make boiled weiners for supper every Saturday, and any leftover weiners were saved to be re-boiled for the next week. You sure hoped you weren't the poor sucker that got the re-boiled weenie.
I finally got my new stove! So nice to have a working oven again. First thing I baked was some oatbran muffins - husband will appreciate the, ahem, fiber.
I never read manuals, but needed to refer to this one...it's not nearly as intuitive as the old stove. I made fried chicken for supper.
Oh, marstec - your poor husband! When I was an uni, staying at an off-campus residence, everyone avoided Saturday lunch because it was spaghetti with sauce made from liver from the Thursday. Ick!
Last night I made baked ham, quiche, and potato salad.
