It's suppose to be a nice day today, so I think I will par boil some ribs, them bbq them later, hmmmm bbq ribs, almost as good as bacon :lolsign: I will serve them with potatoe salad, watermelon salad and some homemade lemonade
Well, it was 'real' to the old Baba cooking for us, lol! I don't eat liver, but even liver-lovers couldn't stomach it - and it wasn't like we had a buffet with options, it was a small residence.
But, oy, facing that after a, uh..., night of drinking was just awful.....
I remember the first time, though - didn't know there was liver in the sauce, so I actually tasted it... ew!
Oh, holly, wish I would have thought of thawing ribs to make rib soup today - it's cool, would have been a good day for it.
So I dunno what's for supper tonight yet....
Left over chicken from last night to make sandwiches. Will make a potatoe salad & take as a picnic. Off to the 4th Line Theatre
left over pork tenderloin and rice for lunch.
It is so hot here:) had 3 asthma attacks already today:( thinking about gf BBQ vegan pizza:) mmmm I think I will make this camping too:)

Oh how I wish it were hot here, not sure what happened to our day, but I actually had the furnace on in the trailer, omg this is JULY. Well, I'm still going to bbq those ribs, but I;ll be wearing a hoodie, lol :)

Pizza was great:) Tomorrow? Maybe fajitas ?? And spinach salad?? Planning a week of meals for camping
so far...
breakfasts:gf oatmeal,berries,coconut yogurt parfaits,hemp heart smoothies
lunches:veggie wraps,veggies and dip,watermelon,apples,almond butter sandwiches
dinner:fire burritos, taco salad,nachos and chilli on the fire,pasta,pizza on the fire,burshetta and potato salad,fire baked löaded potatoes and veggie kabobs and rice
snacks:nuts,fruit, homemade apple leather,chia cookies,rice cakes,homemade frozen fruit sticks
And a few treats: s'mores,chips,popcorn,Daly's,juice and ice tea:)
I am sure it does not look like the usual camping list but I am trying to switch us fully vegan:) Also we eat no soya products,wheat/gluten and usually no processed foods-s'mores etc will be really big treats:)
