I've already decided tomorrow will be leftovers (fridge clean up), out with the old and start with the new on Monday. I'm thinking that the warm rice salad will turn into a lovely chunky soup, I really only need to make a broth to add and it's off to the races with a nice toasted western sandwich (yummy).

My husband and I went to an awards banquet yesterday, so I made supper early for the children. They asked for poutine! I bake the fries, made gravy and grated the cheese. It looked a bit repulsive, but I guess it was the shiznitz as far as deliciousness....I'll never know.
Tonight, I made roast chicken, rice and butternut squash. I had some fresh cut veggies on the side for the children, who are all highly suspicious of bright orange vegetables that aren't carrots.

last night: cauliflower baked with ricotta; stewed cabbage & tomatoes; mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy; veggie ground round for tacos (but I prefer mine not in the shell). This would be a perfect meal for people with no teeth - no chewing required, except for the taco shells LOL

Gosh, all the above meals sound so yummers!
We're cashpoor right now, so are eating what's in the cupboards and freezer - fridge has very little in it!
Last night was canned chicken noodle soup, with Co-op deluxe rising crust pizzas (like Delissio, but much better!)
Tonight is our son's birthday, so my husband is making schnitzel for him. We'll have it with smashed potatoes and corn.
Birthday cake, too, of course!

I'm making stew! I think if I was on death row and offered a last meal, I would make my own stew. With Yorkshire pudding. Yum!!
