A pretty close repeat of our Christmas eve dinner. The lamb loin chops were on sale at IGA and I found these for 50% off. They had only been sitting for one day since being packaged. This serving of lamb cost $1.62.

with wild mushroom risotto, sauteed butternut squash and sage demi

It sounds good to me but what is a demi?

I guided my son through making Hamburger Helper - and he did a great job! Had a bit of meatloaf left over too, as well as some chicken, so those got eaten up as well.
But my son was so sweet - he said he doesn't really want to make the one out of the box again (I never do, these were just the ones I bought to get the free meat) - but how I make my own similar one which tastes way better, he said. Aw, what a hon!

I have tried the halibut! not as good as my usual (which is a medium-hot vegetarian soy meat one, with all the fixins) but it was good and I recall us liking it. it was a good balance, not too fishy. the halibut comes battered which makes for a nice, different texture all wrapped up. it's not my personal favourite but definitely worth a try. have you ever tried a "hot" serving of their xxx hot sauce? yowza, veevee... yowza. my lips burn just thinking about it.

lol, you taught him well when he considers rearranging his plans to get the freebie in... there's definitely some smartcanuckian in him! I've heard amazing things about avatar, especially the graphics. the plot I've been told is predictable but I'll have to see it myself to believe it. it's worth seeing if it can convert a trekkie and a potter fan!

well my hubby has a doctor appt this eve. then we're gonna go to Arby's. I have a BOGO cheddar cheese sandwich that expires today and there are a whole bunch of other coupons that came out a few weeks ago. The Arby's near my house also offer free refills. Lately we've been cutting down on our pop consumption so this is the time where we drink till we're full. Haha.
