Didn't want to cook, either - so did takeout for the first time in ages.
All I really wanted were 7-Eleven fries from across the city (they are incredibly awesome - I don't want to know the calories, they are huge - tender inside, thick crispy coating outside. You get a huge bag for like $2). Husband also picked up two pieces fried chicken, bunch of wings, and mini tacos.
The fries were made fresh while he waited, so they were fab. Chicken pieces were good. Unfortunately the wings were old and/or overfried, tacos were old - but still good, and very spicy.

Cold leftover BBQ chicken thighs from last night, with a ceasar salad I bought at Sobeys. My DS is mostly ignoring the chicken and working on a second helping of salad.

Was supposed to be BBQ Steak but the rain made us change our plans so instead we are having pasta with classic portbello sauce with ground beef tons of cheese and some buttered bread (too hot to turn oven on for garlic bread)

Stupidly put the oven on for breaded seasoned boneless pork bites - they took a lot longer than the box said, so it got really hot in the kitchen! To leftover noodles, I added sauteed onions, had with mixed veggies.

realized there was nothing prepared for when the guys get home, so coated up and pan fried 2 bags of Basa fillets. Mmmm, the smell was so good I had some for dinner myself with sauteed mushrooms and onions.

I want something good/bad for dinner today, think I might set-up the deep fryer outside, mix-up a beer batter and fry some seafood i.e. scallops, shrimp, cod and onion rings.

Oh, Kel, I'd be in heaven with all the wonderful cooking you do!
Just put pork steaks in the slowcooker, with a tomato-mushroom-onion sauce.
Will make rice in the nuker, mix in sauteed onions when that's cooked. Making a salad to go with.

The stuffed skinless/boneless turkey breasts came out so succulent today! I did 2 of them, split each breast but not cut all the way through, so was able to fill each breast with 1 full box of prepared Stove Top Stuffing mix ( when will they make some of that stuff gluten free for me!?)
I always add extra stuff to it too ( cranberries/sauteed onion, more spices) and I roll the whole giant mass in homemade herb/spiced crumb misture to give it that crusty outside.
Then I found a straggler bag of frozen cranberries near the bottom of the freezer and voila cranberry sauce made to go with!
Beets, cabbage, broccoli and carrots all cooked up for everyone to pick from.
