7 Layer Dinner for supper tonight

Last night we had homemade burgers. I had made the patties on Sunday afternoon and put them in the fridge so I just had to cook them up last night.

..loaded up the slow cooker this morning with seared pork steaks, lots of veggies (carrot, onion, celery, mushroom, potato & turnip) lots of spices & tomato and added stock, it smells heavenly, and fresh dinner rolls that I'll heat in the oven later and slather with butter

..a mixture of things, there's leftover pork from yesterday..and pizza from the evening before...and there's touton dough to fry up a few toutons ..and I might cook bacon & beans to go with the pork & toutons

I'll be finishing off the last of the fennel soup, the veggie stir fry, the wee bit of tuna mixture I was allowed to have on this diet. I'll probably make a salad with iceberg/grated carrot/bits of purple cabbage/baby cucumbers and call it dinner!

Just got home feom@ very busy day of volunteer work and started a beef stew in the pressure cooker. I love using the cooker as I can have rich tasting stew from frozen meat in 90 minutes.

..I have honey garlic ribs in the oven going to make rice (maybe with crushed pineapple), sauteed spinach , corn and fresh, soft as air dinner rolls

Last night was Homemade Mac & Cheese, Chicken Finger & Veggies with Dip (wanted Salad, was going to go with kale Salad but could not find any in town)

Tonight is 3 Cheese Pasta in Roasted Portobello Mushroom Tomato Sauce topped with Mozzarella and Parm, will also make a Garlic Bun to go with it (still no Salad as I refuse to pay $4.87 for a small head of Iceberg)

Been a bad week so i decided to go out and get a big box of french fries and gravy with a side of onion rings

I bought one of those Instapot cookers during the black friday deal days. Before i open it i was wondering if any of the people here have or had one and what they thought about it

I have an instant pot and we love it. It takes a little getting used to but we use it often especially in the summer to not heat up the house well cooking.

Last night son came over so we got Mall Chinese food - he misses it since it's too far out of his way to go now for him. It was so good, amazes me when people trash food court food - it all depends on the place and location.

Tonight's supper will be leftovers from yesterday, as well as leftover pieces of chicken from the other night for husband.

Ohhhh i had wonderful meal while in Ontario last week at Dixie mall food court .fried rice , honey garlic chicken and stir fry it was so delicious..every time i go to Mississauga i have go there .
