I ate the last small piece of steak and a small baked spud that was from our Sat. BBQ. Nuked it and tasted like it came right off the grill! There's plenty of homemade pizza for DH and DS to fight over. I keep forgetting to pick some of the baby leaf lettuce to have as a bed for a delicious salad ( DH has it growing out back ) argh! next meal.

Used another $70 in AM to get a $20.00 Metro Family Deal ( BBQ Mammoth Chicken, a tray of ribs, large potato wedges and 2 salads of my choice from the cold counter ) but I also picked up many marked down trays of meat.
We shared the Family meal between the 3 of us, still leftovers.

Yesterday slow cooked ribs on the bbq with a spice rub, they were delicious, made a potato salad, grilled baguette & corn. There's lots of potato salad leftover so planning on grilling burgers, etc

Salad needs to be front and centre today! We have too much home grown tender baby lettuces out back, plus a full head of iceberg. I grabbed a decent bagful of tomatoes on the vine early this morning, will add diced bell pepper, celery and maybe some croutons. There is still homemade burgers ( ty DS for doing that ) to go with.
